Beautiful. Felt like a hotel. Clean. Good bathrooms. Great staff. Wifi was not good though. And a bit difficult to find. Look for the massive black doors! Will stay here again!

The staff didn't speak much English, and we had to wait a day and use a computer to fully understand one another. It looks really clean and is more like a hotel than a hostel. no kitchen, breakfast, or common area. they do have private showers. this place was great except for on the first night we were visited by 10+ bugs that resembled baby cockroaches. there weren't any other rooms open for the next night so we slept there again and no problems the second night.

The Hostal was well located for the palace, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. The place was very well decorated - in fact it felt very upmarket with lovely comfortable beds and a hot shower.

Amazing location, excellent treatment from the staff, very very good bedroom. Nothing to say bad about the place. We loved it and for sure we will recommend and return if we stay in Madrid again.

Great location, clean, friendly staff, nice bedrooms. But seems more like a hotel, it has no common room.

Named Hostal but actually closer to an Hotel, which was very good for a sightseeing WE. Private (little) bathroom, TV, friendly staff, and located right in the middle of the city. I definitely recommend it. However, the Gran Via is very noisy (cars, people, police...) so be sure to bring ear plugs.

More of a hotel than a hostel. Not really a young crowd so don't expect to find people looking to make friends or go out. The location was really great for sight seeing though, and it was very clean and secure.

Almost everything was good...would have been better to have an English speaker at reception 24/7, but the staff is nice otherwise. Clean room/shower/bathroom. Overall, had a pleasant stay here.

I would not recommend this hostel. Our flight was late arriving and they are not staffed after 11 pm so we were unable to stay there and no one answered our multiple phone calls to cancel the room and we were charged for the night regardless. We had to find another hotel and pay that cost as well. It was vey loud there also and we were kept awake. The room was clean though and the location was convenient.

I love this hostel. Its located in the center, you could reach everything by foot. Room is clean with shower and TV. Only thing was disturbing - its sounds from elevator and doors - very noisy.

A great hostel, even if there´s no breakfast downstairs on the street one finds all kinds of options. Very clean, staff very friendly, wifi worked like charm, central heating and warm water. Having stayed in a single room with private bathroom, it felt like a hotel, not a hostel. Very centric, so great for sightseeing or for settling to Madrid (trying to find apartment etc.). Definetly not a party place, but I only thought it was good :) Thanks a lot!
