The hostel is very noisy. There's noise from the street, that is natural due to the location, but there's noise from other rooms too. And there was only one room key available. I was travelling with my sister and we sometimes had diferent schedules, so only one key was really a problem.

There's not much community interaction, if that's what you're looking for. However, it's very clean and very nice and in a very good location.

On arrival, we were given a room which was noisy. The next day, the staff couldn't have been more helpful in dealing with the problem, and changing our room. The hostel (really a hotel) was a little expensive, but of excellent quality.

You get your own private showers and sink, so you don't have to wait for showers or brushing your teeth in the morning, they each have their own tv, and your beds get made every day! This place has a hotel feel more than a hostel feel, so this is a nice place to end a long trip to relax. However, English speaking staff is not always available, so brush up on your Spanish. But despite that, I would still recommend this place for couples, groups or if you're looking for a slower pace in Madrid.

Great location, right in the middle of the action. Staff was friendly and always available. Very clean and well heated for our winter stay. The only thing is - it's definitely not a party hotel, very family like and not somewhere to meet other travelers, otherwise, I highly recommend this hostel!
