This hostel was a huge let down, our room was for 18 people which had been split into 2. Our half had no plug sockets in the room at all, to charge anything you had to go into the main area where there was still only 2 plug sockets one of which was designated to the TV. The wifi was pretty shocking barely worked the whole time we were there. The doors to our room didn't shut properly, 2 showers for 18 people with either boiling hot or freezing cold water. Only good thing was location.
Location was perfect, close to the center and not far from the bus station. Staff couldn't advice on transport and breakfast was poor. Average hostel but OK for only two nights.
The staff don't really speak English and are more friendly and attentive to Spanish speaking guests. They don't allow drinking and are very strict about it. We were reprimanded for quietly and peacefully having some beers and told to throw them away. Really stupid. Breakfast is basic: cereal and toast. The first night, we were FREEZING and couldn't sleep as it gets very cold at night in Puebla and they only give you one little blanket. We had to ask for more blankets and then it was okay.
The hostel is in a good location, around 5 minutes walk to the zocalo. Double room was good quality and reasonable quality. The main downside was that it was quite noisy.
Really great hostel-great breakfast, comfy beds and helpful staff. It's really close to transport and the main sights. It would be nice to be able to use the kitchen, even just for hot water to make tea/coffee. Also, some more tourist information would be really helpful-how to get to places, where to book tours etc. When the dorm got full, the hot water seemed to run out.
The hostel is ok, clean and everything but when I was there there wasn' t anything going on and the staff was really distant and uninterested. No backpacking spirit maybe more like a hotel mind your own business kind of place!
I had a very bad experience in this hostel, there was a smelly old man vomiting all night, the bathroom door would not close and it was inside the room so every time somebody went to bathroom would wake up all... we had no locker they were all taken, not enough available for all guests... would not recommend it
The hostel is in an ideal location, and if you approach them in Spanish they can be very helpful. If they can't understand, they look for a translator. The Breakfast is minimal, only sugary cereals and bananas. The coffee needs improving( needs to be stronger), but it IS free, and they offer teas as well. The large hostel room is very large, but it is quiet enough after 10 . It needs a working Tv in a common area. The lockers need to be larger.
Simple, pleasant hostel in an excellent location in Puebla. I stayed in a private room which was secure and clean, though i'd be a little more concerned for security in a dorm as access from the street looked fairly simple, however, someone was on reception at all times. Sound can echo around in the courtyard a bit and be heard in rooms, but it seems to be a fairly chilled place so that was never a big issue.
It's really good Hostel, that's my second time living there, and I think there will be third time.
Great location, close to everything you need to see. Good area to chill out and relax. Staff didn't speak a lot of English but did their best and were very helpful! Rooms cleaned daily which was great! Not a lot of atmosphere and not allowed to drink in hostel but met some lovely people. Good lockers but anyone could walk in at any time!
There was very little security and we were told upon check in that there were not enough lockers per person, per dorm. There was also no lock to the dorm room, nor any security during the day to enter the hostel. Staff was less than friendly.
there are not so many options in Puebla but it is a good place when your budget is low. i didn t like the rooms so much. Breakfast was ok (despite the pseudo coffee they served).
Great place to stay: clean and nice rooms. Good breakfast.

Had a private double room, was very clean and the staff was very helpful. Water seemed to be hit and miss, but overall it's perfectly located in Puebla.
Great location, super clean hostel. WIFI very slow and frustrating. Overall not really a great atmosphere at the hostel (very quiet) but I was also there in September which is low season and there weren't many other travellers at the time. Good breakfast - coffee/tea, juice, toast, cereal and fruit. Excellent value for money and would absolutely recommend.
Very nice staff, the value for one night was great.
Pros: location, breakfast. Cons: staff disappeared at times, no atmosphere at all, showers cold, noisy at nights.
