Lovely place with helpful staff. Thankfully it has lockers as I don't think there were any locked doors anywhere. Great location. Spent a good two nights here and recommend.

There is no parking place at the hostel, be careful, they told us it was but when we arrived at the hostel, they told us to park the car on the street. Everything else is good.

The first morning I woke up at 6:00 a.m. to find a night watchman who was very grumpy and not at all helpful in any way. The second morning I woke up to no staff anywhere in the hotel at 7:15 and the front door had been broken in by a group of tourists who had arrived late but had been told that there would be someone to let them in. So instead of standing around in the street late at night they broke in. This meant that the hostel was open to the street all night with no-one watching anything.

We stayed here twice, fon our way too and from Mexico City and Acapulco, so that says something. The staff are all very helpful. (English speakers.) Our first room (No·7) was a bit airless as it has no outside windows, but that also meant it was quiet. Both our rooms were really large. Only gripe is that they use plastic mattress protectors. This can mean you can end up sleeping in a damp spot of your own sweat as it has no-where to go. (My solution was to remove it. )
