Nice hostel, great location, breakfast included, late check-out at 12:00, large lockers. Can hardly find something negative.

overall nice hostel, but the toilet in female dorm was not was working for 2 days that I was there. First they said it was a problem in the whole hostel and after it appeared there was a leak in the washroom so they closed the water. which made the stay really uncomfortable even for a hostel facility expectation level.
It was a bit quiet when I was there for día de los muertos but I imagine that was just because it was the low season. security was pretty good- you have a locker and you can use your lock or one of theirs. They also give you towels and breakfast (although the brekkie wasn't amazing). Wifi and computers available too. You can't lock your room door but apart from that it's a pretty solid hostel overall- the dining area is beautiful!
Awesome hostel to stay and rest. Very well located, very close to all the stuff in the historic downtown. The only thing is that is not that good if you wanna meet lots of people. But I recommend to all !!!
Very good location, staff was really nice. Will totally recommend the place!
We actually went to Santo Domingo and they didn't have room for us. I was kind of peeved because we made a reservation! They have a sister hostel (Casa Poblana) and they sent us there. I loved it! It looked the exact same as santo, but I think the location was better. Really close to the zocalo. Staff was great, rooms were cleaner and nicer than some hotels I've stayed at! We won't stay anywhere else in Puebla!
Staff doesn't take action even if several groups keep making lots of noise at 3 am.
the staff is really friendly and nice.the hostel is ok. the building is really nice but since it s old, there is a rough air going through the hostel all the time.when we had breakfast a lady served us, some tables were prepared nicely with tablecloth but they didn t let us sit there because it was reserved for "outside breakfast eaters".:( .the matresses were old and very used so that it wasnt comfortable for sleeping.next to our sleepingroom there was a "ghostroom",dirty and not being used.
Difficulty to sleep in the bed on the top, no escalator to go up. Very noisy at night and room were not so clean.
The staff was really nice and helpful. I would only recommend to sеw the pillows.
Casa Angel is the place to stay in Oaxaca - clean, excellent facilities, close to every thing and super safe - great free brekky and the rooftop BBQ's on Sundays are awesome too!!
