Hostal Sol Reviews

The hostel was closed and was redirected to the hotel (Sol Hotel down the street) for the same price. Overall the experience was OK - my main annoyance was how I (a) had to pay an additional 10 euros for parking and (b) there was no free internet, despite the fact that both these amenities were checked on the Hostal World website. These aren't a problem, but would rather know ahead of time instead of assuming they were included. Staff service was mediocre. But nice room & excellent location!

I booked a room in the hostel but they gave us one in the hotel for the same amount of money. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The hotel and the hostel location wise are in an excellent place. You have an enormous car park for 5 minutes walk and the Puerta del Sol is just next to the building. I would highly recommend for everybody.
