Walking distance from the bus terminal. Really clean, great breakfast with homemade jam. Ross is extremely helpful and nice. Would recommend.

One of the best hostels we have stayed at together. The owners are really nice and brought us banana bread and juice after our long overnight bus ride. The breakfast is really good. Hostel is a little far from the main area, but we wanted somewhere nice and quiet and wished we could have stayed there longer!
Didn't actually sleep here in the end as I decided to cross the border but great location nr the bus station and the owners are cute, everything is quirky and they are friendly with you
No bunk beds! Lovely breakfast included (with fruit!), lots of chargers for electronics, towels included, Ross & Beatriz have all the info you need and are close to the beach, local market, and supermarket. Wifi worked better for me in the front house. Definitely recommended!
Very friendly stuff, close located to the bus terminal and the beach, good breakfast and spacious rooms. All in all a good hostel, I can recommend :)
Friendly hostel close to the beach and bus station, location not as good if you want to spend more time in the city centre though. Ross was very friendly and helpful. WiFi was down but he took us over to his friends hostel to use his which was very good of them both. Great hot showers.
Great rooms and cleanliness. Would be nice to have lockers in all room. Everyone really appreciated the awesome breakfast! The staff was great, super helpful.
After travelling in Peru and Bolivia, this is the perfect hostel to wind down. Great relaxed atmosphere, it's clean, has 3 kitchens and some other amazing feats: you get 2 towels on arrival + beach towels, you are welcomed with juice and cake, there's plenty of bog roll and even hand soap in the bathrrom! Dorm is spacious and the staff were really helpful. Oh, and breakfast: to die for. Beds are very comfy and the hostel is within easy walking distance from the nat. and intl. Bus terminal.
I really loved my stay at Sunny Days, the staff were so amazingly friendly and the whole atmosphere of the place was just so nice! We were in a private double bedroom which was really cozy and good value for money. The communal areas were so lovely, with comfy sofas and plenty of books to read including loads of travel books! I The (shared) bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, and there was no hot water for showering, but that's my only criticism!
Ross makes your stay in Arica. This hostel is very warm and welcoming and you feel like you're visiting your family. As soon as you get there you are greeted with cake and juice and are given a quick brief on Arica. The breakfast was great and the tips Ross gives you will make your stay in Arica worthwhile.
A jewel in the dungheap (slight exaggeration) that is Arica. Very friendly and helpful owners who welcome you in with cake and juice, provide plenty of useful info about getting around and out of Arica. 2 well appointed kitchens, clean, comfortable, near the beach, supermarket and bus stations. A bit of a walk from centre but not too far.
Great family type environment Excellent breakfast Extremely helpful owner Nice size kitchen, however not particularly clean Good wifi Close to beach/supermarket
The stay at Sunny Days was great! Ross is very helpful and makes great breakfast, you have oatmeal, fruits, cheese, bred, real coffee (no instant coffee), juice, joghurt, etc. Everybody sits on a long table so it is easy to get to know other travellers. The Wifi was very good as well and there is a big living romm area and kitchen facilites. It is not a party hostel but a great chill-out-relax place. The beach is close, the city a bit of a walking, but nice as well. Would stay there again!
Great hostel with plenty of space. Ross is really helpful!
Sunny days hostel is really close to the bus terminal and the owner Ross is so helpful getting you sorted if you're crossing the border to Peru. Rooms are a good size and breakfast is great, loads of variety. The kitchen is big and there are plenty of bathrooms. Very quiet so not the place for you if you want to party but we really liked it
good deal but far from city center. Nearby beach is not awesome as pieces of waste from the sea are on the beach all along. Area is a bit creepy at night if you want to walk outside. For 1 night it was ok but for long stay i would not recommend.
The hostal is 5 min away from the beach and 5 min away from the bus terminal. It is a very good hostal, with good breakfast in the morning and nice hosts.
Ok hostal. Rooms are off of the main dining area and social area therefore can be loud at night. Also above every door is a missing piece of glass so it's open to the outer area making it louder ( sound wise it's as if your door is cracked open all night). Bathrooms were quite dirty while we were there. Decent breakfast and Ross is a nice guy and is accommodating. Good sized kitchen. Close to beach. Ok if your not looking for peace and quiet.
Excellent Hostel, Recommended for Backpackers. Nearby Markets, Beach and Bus Terminal.
The manager Ross was a genuinely helpful and wonderful person. Went above and beyond to help us and share info with us. Every question we had he answered and even let me use the printer for my bus ticket. Amazing place with great staff! Plus excellent breakfast!
