The hostel itself is still under construction, but everything works just fine (hot water, showers, toilets, nice kitchen, lounge to meet other travellers). They also rent bikes and sandboards and can arrange tours for you. The staff, however, is AMAZING! Even though they spoke just a little English and I did not speak any Spanish, we managed to communicate just fine. They are so lovely and helpful! And ofcourse the cute cat is a bonus as well :D I would definitely stay here again.

The hostel hostess was very patient and helpful, especially since I speak very little Spanish. I enjoyed the outdoor seating in the morning and evenings, and being away from the main area meant for a more quiet night.

the hostel seemed very sad, startying form the entrance which is very indecent both from outside and inside. The reception area is very unwelcoming, badly decorated and dirty. The furniture in room was very old, sad and ugly and the bathroom the same. The sliding window of the room was facing the interior patio and it could be easly opened from outside!!!! From my point of view you dont need money to make a place warm and decent enough , it s just a matter of good taste and basic hospitality.

Talar is a small hostel with a very personal touch. I stayed booked one night and ended up staying for six! The couple who runs it are exceptionally kind and take well care of their guests. There is a nice big kitchen to cook in and it's kept CLEAN! Not a party hostel, more a soft chill hang out with a terrace feeling. Cute cat, although sometimes in attack-mode :)

Mauricio is just the best guy to help you organize your stay and have a great holiday. In the hostal it was very easy to meet many new people including some of the tour guides which also helped very openly with information and story telling :)

Jessica, Marcelo and Zanahoria - the ex-tomcat - are really nice. I really enjoyed the stay in the hostel, although the town itself was really expensive and the internet was always down - which was the fault of the providers, not of the hostel. If I should ever go back to this place, I'd go to this hostel again!

A friendly place, not too far from the centre of town, there are a few other hostels that are further out, it's a ten minute walk. Stayed in a double room with private bathroom, there was hot water in the shower and there was a fridge in the room, which was handy. Wifi was a bit slow.

Good budget place, there was some confusion about the room we'd booked, but that was quickly solved! We booked the sandboarding tour with them, which was combined with sightseeing and sunset in the valley, definitely recommended!

The hostel was covered with cat hair, had my bag under the bed once i pulled it out it was rotten with dust and covered with cat hair...we had booked a dorm of six people woke up and there where mattress on the floor that slept another 3 people, there was no security wat so ever for your personal belonging..staff couldn´t speak english when we arrived not helpful
