Unfortunately the only Transylvanian to the Hostel is its name. Their Israeli Restaurant is overpriced for Ecuadorian standards but good for somebody homesick and graving for some humus and falafel. They have quiet a big DVD collection, several computers and a pool table for rainy days. The breakfast is ok.

The common space felt like half hostel, half children's playroom. They also say that they have a communal kitchen, but you can only use it between 2-5 in the afternoon, and 9-11 at night...kind of cutting out the prime dinner-making hours. Its clear that the hostel facilities and the family's living space are combined.....

The owners and staff are great, the location is perfect, you can book everything right from the front desk, a restaurant is on deck and there is a GREAT breakfast included. Could not be a better place to stay in Banos in my opinion. Despite what this says I am a seriously experienced hosteller and loved this place. Dont party but you sure could. Right close to the main drag. A perfect place to stay.

Overall very nice place, excellent value for your money! Good breakfast (choose one out of three types of breakfast). Free WLAN, even in our room. Great location. Small drawback: nobody took out the toilet trash for three days, although the trash can was more than full...

One of the best hostels I\'ve stayed at. They arranged all my activities, all at prices better than the travel agencies. Wonderful owners, fantastic breakfasts, best prices! I couldn\'t have had a better time in Banos.

The hostal is nice, the location is good and the breakfast options were very nice but the common areas could be more inviting.

absolutely amazing hostel. the best hostel I have stayed at for the quality of the employees. The owners are super hospitable and nice, and they went out of the way to make sure I had the best time in Baños. Recommended restaurants, places to do activities, and also gave me a break down of the things happening in Banos. The rooms are good, and the showers are always hot. And, the best free breakfast I had in my trip.
