Facilities, rooms and outer area were clean, clean, clean! The water was not too hot (or even cold) after dawn. Matilde and Jose are the nicest hosts I have ever met! Even that I only speak little Spanish (and they only little english) they were super helpful and soooo friendly!

It's an amazing place. Not just for the super nice owners, and the very affordable accommodations, but the atmosphere is amazing and the people that pass through are some of the most fascinating adventurers I have ever come across. It's a bit out of the way from the center of San Pedro. Being a female traveling alone I can't say I enjoyed the walk in the dark from the main town back to the Hostel, but if you have a companion, then the location is just fine. I would highly recommend it!!!

Very friendly hostel. Owner look after the place and guest very well. 7 mins walk towards center on the town. Very quiet at night for good sleep. They offer me to sleep I their daughters room for free. The bathroom is clean. Bed is almost like home. There is a BBQ can be used to cook. Locker is bit small, but u get keys for the rooms.

If I ever come back to San Pedro, I will, for sure, stay in Tuyasto again. The owners are amazing people (very willing and caring), the place is clean and well-located - as it is "far" from the main street (5 min-walk), it is very calm too. A cozy atmosphere that makes everybody feels like at home.

We loved it and felt there like at home! It's one of the best hostels we have ever stayed, nothing fancy, but had a nice feeling. Hosts are amazing!

The hostel is simple and clean, nothing different from what we expected. Although there were no hot water in the shower what made us stay only one night instead the seven we had planned. If you don’t mind to shower with cold water or to have to walk 10 minutes to the main street, I guess it worth the price.

A perfect hostel run by a perfect family ! No far away from the center of SPA, less than 10 minutes walking. The owners are really nice and welcoming, the plca is beautiful, everything is clean, the kitchen is very useful... I can't see any bad point !

For San Pedro it is a good choice. Low Budget and good mix of Travellers. Provides a few nice meeting places to have some wine/beer with other guests. Not to crowded or too loud, like other hostels.

This was a nice friendly hostel that was clean and tidy. Dorms didn't have bunks which was nice. Staff were friendly but only spoke Spanish (which is our bad for not speaking it). Kitchen small and no inside living area. But all in all a nice comfortable stay.

They should invest more on the facilities. It's really hard to take a shower. Doesn't come out enough water and it's too cold or too hot. There is no hot water 24h, just during the day. The staff is nice, but this isn't enough. Also, there is a ring at the front door, but there isn't anyone at the reception. If you need something, you must go to the owner's house, which is inside the hostel. But it's easy to notice that people feel uncomfortable doing it and sometimes give up due to that.

We did get lost in the dark finding the hostel but after a phone call the owner collected us. They gave us advise on tour bookings as a lot of the tour operators are pretty useless. We stayed for 3 nights and on departure they dropped us off at the bus station. Would like to stay again.

I had been a lot of times and different hostels around the world, but for sure this is the most kindless, cleanliness and home feelings ever. The beds are more comfortable them mine. Jose and Matilde made me feel like I get someone as a family in Atacama, they are such a amazing couple who does everything for us to make the Atacama experience unforgettable. Thank you guys for the amazing job in there. I completely recommend if you look for a nice place to stay in Atacama.

Very nice hostel a litle outside and therefore a bit more quiet, which is a nice thing in San Pedro. Also the owners are incredibly friendly. I can absolutely recomend a stay there.

Nice quiet, clean, and inviting hostel on the edge of town. Great facilities, wonderful staff. Excellent value. Not a party hostel, but a nice shady place to cook breakfast of enjoy a beer after being in the desert all day-- there is a market just a few doors away. Highly recommended!
