It was very loud in the hostel during the entire night. There was just one bathroom with one single toilet for one floor (estimated 30 people). There was no map of the city, the receptionist could not give us our change back and seemed to be more interested in his soccer game on tv than in helping us out.

Hostel Villar is in a great location. EVERYTHING is within walking distance. The room we stayed in was nothing special, but every day it was cleaned by their service, our bed was made, trash emptied and a new set of towels were hanging on the rack. It can get a little loud from the street and if there is a large group of teenagers staying on your floor. The staff was nice and there's someone at the desk 24hrs. a day. They keep your key at the desk and buzz you in at night.

Room was quite small and walls are very thin. But, it's pretty cheap for such a good location so can't complain.

This hostel was disgusting! If you have allergies definitely don't stay here because my throat and eyes would swell up after every night. Even my friend who doesn't have allergies had an itchy throat and dry eyes. Also, thankfully we chose to have a private room because the people that stayed in the hostel were a bit strange. I wouldn't have felt comfortable sharing a room with them. The beds were EXTREMELY squeaky and EXTREMELY uncomfortable!! There weren't plug-ins in the room.

A nice, clean, cheap hotel. Not very social, but if a quiets night sleep is needed, this is the place to go.
