Super beautiful little place, not too centered but close enough to walk there, 20min from main terminal more or less. Privates are really nice, cosy terrace in the middle. Only staff was a bit lacking at the reception most of the time. But overall, really enjoyed staying there.

We had a double private room, which was small but cosy and cleaned every day. Breakfast was supposed to be at 8am each day but was often a bit late each day, which meant us running to Spanish class with our breakfast in our hand! We found the staff, especially the breakfast ladies to be very pleasant and welcoming, however the owner was not vary cheery and often quite grumpy. We also recommend that the owner buys a washing machine as the cleaning ladies spend a long time hand washing.

Front door is always locked, and you have a key for it, but no lockers in the rooms. I had a problem getting to the hsotel for the night of my reservation, as there were road blocks preventing buses from going into Sucre. I emailed the hostel to try and shift my booking, but did not get a reply. When I turned up the next day, I had to pay the full price.

Wasi Masi serves an awesome breakfast and they serve it to you personally, like you're in a restaurant! I only stayed here a couple of nights but this hostel did the job. The showers could have been hotter. Nice staff and excellent book exchage. I felt rushed out by the cleaners before I checked out and that really annoyed me as there was a good hour before check out.

The private twin ensuite room that we booked online was not available when we arrived, but they gave us a discount and gave us a private twin with shared bathroom instead. However, this room gave onto the garden/common area where people usually smoke, therefore we could not leave our window open, thus trapping the musty smell in the room. But besides this, the sole shared bathroom was kept clean, the staff was really nice and helpful and the location was great. Kitchen was a bit small though.

Nice hostel. I would recommend the lunch at the restaurant downstairs.

This hostel has a great location and great communal areas but the staff let the place down. We were made on two nights, quite forcibly to either go to bed before 10.30pm or we had to go out. This would of been fine if the hostel had advertised this before booking as we probably wouldn't of stayed there. The staff here were on quite a few occasions rude and unhelpful and tried to charge us extra on check out. It's a shame because the hostel has great potential.

Lovely outdoor courtyard. We daily refused the kind (but entirely unnecessary) offers to clean our room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice and good value lunch in the cafe. A very nice place to relax for a few days in Sucre.

I had a great time here. The staff is very friendly and they even taught me how to make Bolivian lasagne. Furthermore facilities and location are great. There's an area for socializing outside with the other guests and the area feels a bit like your grandmother's backyard! Highly recommended!

Close to the main plaza and market, with good value doubles with en-suites. The owner isn´t the most helpful of people, so ask other visitors for tips on Sucre. The book exchange is really good! In the evenings, the tiny kitchen can get very crowded!

I booked a private room trough hostelworld but when I came there there were no private rooms at all. I had to sleep in the same door for the same price as a private room at hostelworld

Could be great, good location, but our room had a massive leak, couldn't change rooms, so had wet floor for two nights ( had to use shared bathroom when paid for private) we found the staff to be very rude. 3 different groups arguing with staff. And there was bird excrement on the shared library. Didn't borrow a book.

good hostel centrally located. full breakfast. although the dorm has 10 beds, the layout of the room makes it feel rather cozy. Towels are not included for dorms, only for private rooms.

Pleasant stay at this hostel that has lovely terraces to relax on. I lliked the family feel as the owners kids were running around during the day. The staff were very sweet and kind.

Kitchen hasn't been cleaned for ages, everything was greasy, smelly and sticky... just disgusting. We couldn´t understand why everything was spotless and sooooo clean (especially the bedrooms) and that kitchen was left without care for so much time. Eventually (after 2 days) we had to cook and I spent 45 minutes cleaning just every pot and plate (including rotten pasta that has been sitting there for at least a week), while my girlfriend was putting things from fridge and cupboard to the trash

The hostel is great but sometimes the owner, i guess Roxanna, tell you what to do and dont be loud at 8 pm, weird, but still ok :-)

Don't expect to be making any mega meals, the kitchen is like a matchbox. Get to breakfast early or you may not get the promised milk with your coffee or fruit. The owner claims to be all family orientated and friendly but when approached she was quite dismissive.

The owner claims to be all family run, etc but was very moody with us. We paid for private with bathroom but only the communal shower had hot water so what's the point on paying for the private when you dont use it. We were there over Xmas and she put a lot of effort in with secret Santa, etc which was nice. Get to breakfast early or else you don't get milk, fruit, etc.
