Great Atmosphere. Nice outdoor area for afternoon chats and beers. The kitchen is tiny but usable. The wifi is okay and the breakfast is on par with the usual stale brick bread with tea or coffee. Danny (the cook) makes a tasty dinner a few nights a week that is delicious and cheap!!. I would happily recommend this hostel. The 24 hour reception is a joke/ no existent. Double rooms only get one key.If you come back late (and don't have the key) you have to wake up the owner out of bed, very grumpy

I have walked around the city checking out other hostels, and this one is definitely the best. Dorm beds and lockers are impressive. Nice common room with a tv and huge selection of DVDs. Everything is clean. Breakfast is basic, but you won't get anything better at a hostel in Bolivia. Frequently organize dinners that are delicious and cheap. Good wifi.

GREAT hostel. The rooms are clean and newly renovated, and the beds are good. The best thing about the hostel was the social environment: if you´re looking to meet people, but not be kept up all night by noise, this is a great place! Roxanna is so wonderful, and Danny the cook makes 5 affordable, delicous meals a week, so you never have to worry about dinner! LOVELY garden and book exchange.cons: only a couple of the showers are consistantly hot, and a nearby soccer field makes a bit of racket.

Nice place, liked the atmosphere, and the bbq was nice! But the quality of the private room was very poor, it was very humid and on top of that (probably due the damp room) full with mosquitoes :(

We arrived in the morning, 6.00 am, and after a view minutes they opend the door and our room was ready and jumped directly into bed! The shower needs some time to get warm, 45 minutes, that wasn´t nice, because the room was also cold. There aren´t beds, but a matras on the floor, what was good. Take your time at breakfast, we had a excursion and missed it ´cause after 20 minutes waiting there wasn´t yet...

Very nice hostel by Bolivian standards (meaning wifi is slow). The dorm was very clean and each bed had a reading light, which was fantastic. The owner was a great host and the food was fantastic.

Good hostel, not quite as awesome as we had hoped, but still very good. A lot of people stay here for a while, so is homely for them. Sometimes there are dinners and drinks and things which is a good touch, The book exchange is excellent. Breakfast is a lottery.

Positive: Lovely garden was great to socialise plus tv room and very small kitchen. Table served breakfast was bread, jam and butter with occassional surprises of banana or yoghurt plus tea/coffee. Restaurant served nice set lunch. Our double room was cleaned and bed made every day. Negative: Bathroom stank of mold and was only consealed by a plastic screen. Pillows were very hard. We booked 2 nights and ended up staying for 1 week with no issues.

The first impression of the hostel was good, but not the second. We spent 5 nights there and attended a two-day trek. We were able to deposit our luggage in the hostel and made reservations for another night for the return. When we returned they let us wait more than two hours to tell us that the hostel is unfortunately full, although we had previously reserved. Our room was always damp and the walls were partially mold. In addition, the shower was not warm as promised.

Pros: Very friendly place - hostellers and staff. Regular BBQs good value. Opportunities to learn and practise Spanish. Away from traffic fumes. Big lockers in dormitory. Cons: A bag was stolen from office because of access through cafe. Don`t leave bags in office. Miniscule kitchen for self caterers. Yappy, friendly dog.

Great hostel with friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms. There´s a great courtyard for lounging and a kitchen and clean fridge for groceries. It´s centrally located. Wifi works but is slow like expected in Bolivia. Breakfast is included and the hostel´s restaurant serves a great value of a lunch for 14BOB.

One of the best hostels we stayed until now! Just need a bigger kitchen but there are plenty of choice for restaurants around.

Very quaint hostel in a good location not tool far from the main square. Has a nice garden area for people to socialize. A great place to chill out for a while. Not very big though. But would recommend especially with the right group.

We had a fantastic time here and kept extending our stay. Great atmosphere, communal bbqs/meals arranged most days, friendly staff that came out drinking with us. Great for partying and also for those who want peace and quiet. The dorm was the best we've stayed in with brand new beds with their own lamps, power points and lockers. The owner, Roxanna, and all her staff were helpful and friendly. Laundry and wifi provided and a great location. Would love to go back!
