We liked and would recommend. The shower pipes were broken and breakfast was poor. Rooms were very clean. Is also a little bit difficult to find the bus stop at Retiro.

Nice place, friendly staff. Good location, next to bars and steakhouses in San Telmo. We had a double room on the first floor towards the street. Bed was ok, though not great mattress, and we are used to using earplugs, so the bars below were no problem. The mens toilet smelt a bit usually, would be great if we guys had a better aim in general...

I can't say that I had a great stay at the Hostal de Granados. At the first night, there were people having a party at the Hostel, wich I think perfectly normal, but until 2 am I consider not acceptable. True, I had a problem with my luggage, maybe I was mad because of that too. Well, my biggest complain is about the security. I was at a private room e my cell phone was stollen from there. I'm absolutly sure that I'd locked the room, 'cause I always check twice. The Hostel did nothing about it.

A really good hostal in San Telmo area, tons of coffee shops and outdoor eateries right outside the door, short walk to thr river causway and nature reserve.

Great location right in San Telmo close to many nice places to eat and wander around. Very safe, good lockers in the room and on all the room doors. Staff were friendly and sweet, didn't really offer much in the way of advice but had all the usual flyers and vouchers there. Not really a place to meet other travellers but great if you want to hang out and explore the place on your own. Simple breakfast but with the location that was hardly a problem!
