watch out for the room close to the river, it could be very noisy for the sound of water

The hostal was very clean and well run. The breakfast was very good. We are not young kids, but the hostal was very comfortable for us and very convenient.

During off-peak hours hot water is turned off, but can be turned on upon request at any time. No big problem, as this is normal for this area.

A short, but excellent stay. Staff got up as early as 0500 to fix a big breakfast for guests on their way up to Machu Picchu. I highly recommend.

Very good place to stay the night when all you want to do is get up and see machu picchu the next morning, quiet but located next to the train station and bus terminal and bars/resturants and very good breakfast! Friendly and helpfull staff, would recommend if you want a good sleep.

Very professional and well-equipped hostel. Good location to start to Machu Picchu (although Aguas Calientes is very small and nearly every hostel has a good location to start the trip to Machu Picchu). Hostel is not that cheap, but the room was spacious and the service above the other Peruvian Hostels we encountered (e.g. complementary water bottles and soap, which is not standard in such hostels !). Breakfast also was very good.

More of a hotel than a hostel. Staff were great, picked us up from the train station and provided early breakfast so we could catch one of the first buses to Machu Picchu.

Maybe a little bit expensive...but the hotel is excellent! The location is GREAT !! Only 1 block from the train station and the bus stop. AMAZING STAFF, they told us the best places to visit! With hot water!!
