I enjoyed my time there (2 nights). Yes, Fertilia is a very quiet village, but sometimes that's nice! And it's walking distance to a Nuraghe (ancient stone village), and you can hire a bike and go to the national park etc. Good for nature-lovers.

The hostel is good to stay for a couple of nights due to is closed to the airport and not far away from one of the most beatiful areas of the North of Sardignia: Capo Caccia. Apart from that the atmosphere was pretty sad (maybe because we were there during the second week of september..) and Fertilia Village is too small to stay longer than 2 nights. The price average is ok but a little bit expensive if you take into account its location since hostels in the center of Alghero have the same price

This hostel needs more facilities for guests: kitchen, washing machine, entertainment. Also: a proper breakfast. They made me feel like a naughty girl as I wanted to put extra butter and jam on my bread. That was mean.

This hostel was an average. rooms are pretty big, lockers would help in terms of security though. Breakfast is very poor, but pizza they make is very very good. If you travel by car, then consider yourself lucky, as the beach is about 30-40 minutes walk from the hostel and the beach is not great either. Be aware that the hostel is not in Alghero, but Fertilia which is about 15 minutes ride by bus. Staff was friendly enough, rooms were clean and guests were nice as well...

Although the hostel is in Fertilia, out of Alghero, it is closer to some beaches of the area, and there are plenty of buses to get around. The main problem is that the buses that go to the beaches don't follow the schedules, and you might stand under the sun waiting for a bus for two hours. It's better to rent a bike or a car. The environment is familiar, and it is not a good place to socialise. They don't promote anything to make people meet and the living areas are separate from each other.

The location was great in a small village about a 20 minute bus ride away from Alghero. It is a lovely place however the sign post into the hostel has a different name on it to Hostel de l'Alguer meaning we walked around for ages before deciding to go in there and ask where our hostel to find it was actually that one. The beds were also another issue, never have there been such a range. My bed was awful with springs sticking into me all over the place however my friends was lovely and firm.

Far away from the city Alghero, the breakfast was not nice, especially the people serving breakfast were very unfriendly. Rooms are stuffed with beds, shared bathrooms.
