Only good thing is location. We reserved a private room days before and when we got there they had over booked and didnt bother to contact us. Wifi doesnt work in the rooms, bathrooms are falling apart, walls are peeling, no good common areas.

We had a nice stay at Hostel del Centro and the staff has been very helpful and sympatico with us. Qiuet and relaxing place.

A decent hostel in the absolute center of Salta. Located about 15m walk from the bus station and less than a minute from the main plaza, the location of the hostel is its main feature, as is the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The hostel itself is average: The rooms are ok, but old and the breakfast is too basic. It all looks a bit worn down and it's quite noisy, especially in the first rooms. However, it is one of the cheapest hostels I've stayed in in Argentina, so value is pretty good.

The hostel was ok.The location is fairly central.The double room was nice enough.The breakfast was ok.The computers and the internet are alright but a bit slow and the computers a bit unresponsive.There was no one else staying in the hostel when we were so there wasn't much atmosphere.When we left we asked the receptionist to order us a taxi,which he initially refused to do,then he called a guy who I assume was his friend,and he tried to charge us double the price of the metered taxi!

This hostel has an awesome location. Only five mins walk to the main square. It was VERY hot though, both in the room and the very small communal area.

Brilliant location and really lovely staff. The kitchen was great and the rooms were good value for money with lockers. The whole hostel was cleaned at least every day and they let us stay 2 extra nights with no worries. Would stay here again.

Very nice hostel with a great location and absolutely kind and helpful staff. Despite what some people wrote before, the bathrooms were in very good conditions so I guess they were fixed. I also found the hostel in good building condition and clean. Our double-bed room was really nice and it included a wardrobe and TV! Absolutely value for money and recommendable hostel.

The location is very close to the downtown attractions, however, talking about the cleaness......that's totally a nightmare. Creepy and gross, definately not recommend this hostel unless you really want to experience what you saw in horror movie.
