We statyed in the hut out back. First problem is that it was very hot and sweaty but there was a working fan so I'm not sure anything could be done about that. But real problem was that from about midnight until about 2AM a group of 3 or so people (maybe guests, maybe staff or maybe a combination of the two) were chatting/smoking/drinking in the courtyard adjacent to the hut which was too loud for us to sleep. If the staff was involved this was unacceptable, if not I guess it was just bad luck.

BEDBUGS!!! We had so many that we were able to collect them in a plastic bag! We showed them to the staff the next morning and had the very strong feeling that they weren't surprised at all, more that they know about this problem and still put people in the rooms! And they even refused to give us our money back. What else? The swimming pool is a muddy dirty joke, the bedlinen and towels were dirty and the whole atmosphere unwelcoming. There are much better options in Valladolid!

I spent quite a pleasant 2 days stay . The only disapointment was breakfast which was absoltely unsufficient to be called "breakfast" - consist of cereals + milk + tea. This is not good enough , this should be clearly indicated in the hostel description.

Very clean and comfortable rooms, but they offered only cold coffee and cornflakes for breakfast. Staff didn't give us a welcoming feeling.

Very good value for Valladolid. Hostel is in a very quiet and historical neighborhoud and only 5 min from the bus station. Kitchen was equiped with everything we needed, internet was fast, grocery store around the corner, and only 5 min from the city center. The only downfall - place needs to invest in new mattresses.

i was disappointed in the breakfast that was provided. Basically it was bread and coffee. I stayed my secong night at 'the other hostel' and was fed fruit, cereal, bread, coffee. Other than that my stay was good.

We loved the real palapa roof, and the room was quite comfortable. There was more noise than expected, but it's right in town and the town gets going at dawn. Shower was nice and hot, but water pressure was rather low. That's as close as I can come to complaining - it was really very nice.

My sister and I stayed at Hostel Fraile for 4 nights, and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly, the hostel pretty, and it was in a good location. All in all, it was lovely and tranquil, and we would stay there again if ever we are in Valladolid.

Chambres agréables mais sans plus. Proche du centre, d\'un supermarché et des activités. Calme avec un petit déjeuner correct. Cuisine bien équipée pour se faire ses propres repas.

This hostal was a gem. The little cabins are cute and charming. The street was one of the quietest in Valladolid. The place is inmaculate clean. The staff is very helpful and caring. The owner Pepe was a wealth of information, always with a smile in his face ready to answer any questions. They have a common kitchen that has anything you need to cook a full meal. This hostel is perfect if you want to visit Valladolid and its surroundings. It's literally two blocks away from all local transportati

The breakfast was simple, coffee, tea and toast (i think that,s normal for what you pay for a room). There was no hot water. The enviorment and the owner make everything perfect. What a perfect place, beautiful building on a good location. The owners are really friendly and give a lot of information. They got rooms in the building and also 2 rooms in a origional Palapa, amazing!

Pretty basic, but you get what you pay for here. Some nice touches like pool table and a small pool. Staff are friendly. It\'s a pretty small property, so noise can travel easily. Hot water would be nice too!
