Hostal del Pilar Reviews

The Hostal is just around the corner of one of the Old Town streets. Thus the location is perfect, also from the sea. As we were there in mid-May, the Hostal was just preparing for the coming summer season - the ground floor was under reconstruction, meaning also access to the kitchen and the common room was quite restricted. Still, the Owner is a really friendly English speaking man and, if wanted, you can keep your things in the fridge. Bonus - upper floor outdoors space for morning coffee :)

Enjoyed three day stay. Hostel situated in a great place with great restaurant/ bars all round. Dave was very helpful and friendly.

owner is very nice welcoming and talkative town is little and cute.

A little disappointed breakfast wasn't included, even though all the reviews/hostel info said it was. However, we understand the hostel is undergoing a revamp/ new ownership etc. It's a fab location and once it's been updated it should be a really social hang-out spot.

Incredible value for money, right in the heart of Marbella old town, and Mike and Trudi were fantastic hosts. I will be back!

A great hostel to stay in. Good value, clean rooms, central location with a nice roof terrace to enjoy the sun.

Had a great time there, and I also just love Marbella. Got to know a lot of people outside of the hostel as well as people who were staying at the hostel.

Right in the middle of Marbella Old Town, this hostal is excellent value for money, with friendly, helpful staff.
