On arrival,was very impressed with the hostal and the helpfullness of the owners and my first opion did not change during my stay. Good local information was supplied by the owners. This is a gem of a hostal in a great position right in the centre of the old town and only a few mins from the beach. There are plenty of places in eat and drink near to the Hostal Mike the owner is very friendly and helpful and he makes you really feel at home and wecomes you with a free drink. I booked a single room but was given a double room with a comfortable large bed. Basic,clean accomadation. Suprisingly friendly from both owners and staff...More importantly cool beers at both bar and roof terrace where very easy to mix with like minded people.....fully enjoyable cant wait to come back next year....Basic,clean accomadation. For a one star hostel, not only do you get somewhere to rest your head you get a comfortable environment from which to explore Marbella's charming old town and relax along the golden shores. Welcoming and friendly, ideal for backpackers at a very reasonable price. Qué bien!
