The bedding was clean, but the furniture and the bath equipment - very worn-out and not good looking... The room was very small and not comfortable. The staff does not speak English - we wanted to have a look at other rooms as well and to choose but they didn't understand a word. It's not a place one cannot stand, but for the same money one can get much better place, even in the old city... I wouldn't recommend it - I cannot find what for... The staff were very pleasant on our arrival and departure. The rooms were very clean and the bedding clean and crisp. Although they were very basic and stark I considered this added to the traditional feel of the hostel. I loved the location. It was exactly where I wanted to be in Marbella.
