Booked this at the last minute, the day of, because I'd decided I didn't want to sleep in the airport that night. It was a great place to crash for a few hours: cheap and close to Puerta del Sol so we just hopped on the Metro in the morning to go to Barajas. Only downside: the street below is busy and popular, so bring earplugs if that'll bother you.

1.Unfortunately the kitchen is only open from 10 am to 10 pm-which means you're wasting time trying to make cup of tea before you go to explore Madrid for the whole day. 2.Our room was above some disco club and facing busy (24/7) street (Calle de la Cruz)-which doesn't allow you to sleep unless you're very drunk or have very good earplugs. 3. Very nice and helpful hosts. Room and the whole hostel was clean.Quite close to Madrid,s main Metro station (Sol).

I stayed in a twin private for a weekend. The bed was nit very comfortable but having a shower in the room was very nice. The hostel has no character or ambiance so don't come here expecting to meet people. It is a decent place to rest for the night in peace an quiet but doe not offer much more than that. The kitchen I..locked early and opened late (10 am).

Excellent location in the city centre, good value for money - recommended 1-2 night trip. Good and fast free wi-fi. The bed in the 2-bed bedroom is relatively small, but it is managable. Rooms and restrooms are clean.

The hostel was in a great location for being able to reach almost everything by foot and being in the heart of the city. However, our room faced a main street and it was loud until around 7am. The staff were very nice and patient, but did not speak any English which made checking in and out a little tricky. The private rooms had their own sink and shower which we were not expecting, but that was very convenient. It was also very clean and secure. Wifi was spotty and only worked in certain areas.
