We really enjoyed our stay in San Cristobal!! The City is so lovely and the Hostel los Camellos was a great place to stay!! The hostal owners are so nice guys and really take care that everything is fine during your stay. We felt safe in the hostal and it was just a 5 minute walk to the main street. The only thing which could be improved is the wifi-connection (it only worked in the communal area, not in our private room).

A suggested improvement would be to make the wifi available in the rooms instead of just the common area. Otherwise, the private we rented was a good value and the staff was very friendly and helpful. When the lights went out they brought us candles and extra blankets. Recommendable!

At the end of one pedestrian Street, with bars, shops, laundry and super(mas))market, but the area is lonely after dark. It's a colonial house (casona)and rooms are around a patio and a garden.Kitchen with coffee\\tea and purified water; good wifi; cheap tours in Chiapas; friendly atmosphere with the helpful Fabien. Breakfast is not included in the price; few powerpoints, especially in common areas.

The facilities are great and very well decorated. You have a easy access to the kitchen, the toilets are clean and the people will treat you well. The location is also good, the only problem i felt is that they could have lockers for more security.
