Guatemala City can be a bit daunting when you arrive so if it\'s a stop over this place is perfect. 100% perfect. The staff own the business here and up in Tikal and Antigua so you get that extra special care. We had flight problems and get this, they drove us around town to travel agents and helped us out over and over.
If our room was in a hotel it would be the size of a suite. The breakfast was fruit and the most incredible pancakes all in as part of the booking.
The hostel is

We stayed one night in this hostel and we would recommend it to everyone who is just arriving in Guatemala City. The owners are really nice and will arrange everything for you. They will even pick you up at the airport. The location is far from the citycentre, so we didn´t see much from the city. Most important was that the place felt really safe, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good.

My stay was for 2 days before I could take a flight back home. They were very helpful, they even have free shuttle to and from the airport at any hour. So I had no trouble in taking a 6am flight back home.

Would recommend this hostel to anyone. Very friendly people.
They go all out to make you feel at home. There is a very large dining
room and very large living room. They provide free pickup from the airport
and also free breakfast each day one stays there. They also provide towels
in the bathroom. Very few hostels do this.
I woulg go there anytime I am in Guatemala City.

The guy at the reception had a bit of difficulty in getting our room fee right... Double-check the numbers.

The 13th Zone is far away from the centre and is not safe to be in the streets late in the evening. You must take taxis and the average cost is 7/8 USD, which aditionally increases the cost of the lodging.
