Hostel doesn't have airconditioner's, fans nor screens on the windows in the rooms, therefore if you are hot you will get eaten alive by mozzies.Hostel doesn't have airconditioner's, fans nor screens on the windows in the rooms, therefore if you are hot you will get eaten alive by mozzies....Close Read Owner Comments

Excellent staff, were more helpful that you could ever think. They gave you a free map and advised you where to visit with the time you had and how to get there. Breakfast was included and as much coffee and you could drink, beers on request for 10 pesos (50 p) and some of the nicest people you could come accross. If you visit mexico city stay here. They organised taxis for you at good prices too, extremely useful if going to the airport! Excellent staff, were more helpful that you could ever think. Aaron and Manuel are very helpful and friendly hosts. The hostel is very clean and comfortable with a courtyard where you can have a beer and talk to other guests - and in the mornings watch the hummingbirds that visit to feed from the flowers. Breakfast is included but the kitchen is off-limits at other times.
It's a bit of a walk into town but the upside is that it's in a safe neighbourhood and there are plenty of restaurants within about ten minutes walk.
I'd happily stay here again.Aaron and Manuel are very helpful and friendly hosts. Really nice place, really clean, really friendly and helpful staff. Really. I definitely recommend. It's got a nice location, as it's close enough to Polanco and the Zona Rosa to walk, but is in a quiet residential area. Hostel is clean, calm and in a nice, safe part of town from where local transport and amenities are easily accessible. The owners are a wealth of knowledge on everything there is to know about the city and could not have been more friendly and helpful with guidance, directions, etc. Good breakfast set-up.Hostel is clean, calm and in a nice, safe part of town from where local transport and amenities are easily accessible. Nice place to start your trip in Mexico-City and to become a little bit familiar with the city, people and all the new atmoshere in this incredible town. Magnificant support of hostelowner (thanks Aaron) about the hot-spots ... but a little far away from the Centre (especially at night). We loved this hostel!! The owners are extremely helpful and the hostel is very clean. It's kind of far from the main attractions, but worth the walk to the metro, which is only about fifteen minutes away or there's a bus very close that takes you to the nearest metro station. The neighborhood is great though and feels very safe.We loved this hostel!! The owners are extremely helpful and the hostel is very clean. I spent two weekend nights in July 08 and plan on returning for two more nights later. The most prominent aspect of this hostal for me was that it was spotlessly clean. The staff was extremely helpful, the neighborhood quiet and safe and the hostal also was quiet and safe. I would recommend it to anyone.
