Nicely decorated central hostel, good rooms with huge double bed, fresh simple breakfast and friendly staff. The only problem was the wifi, unconstant and with weak signal.

it was a right choice to stay in Malam 1001. Sosrowijayan st, Mecca of tourist for Yogja, provides enough selection of accomodation. Malam 1001 is not a cheap stay for backpackers, but as a middle class hotel is the best choice. Following night we had to stay for 5 hours in a cheap hostel nearby(60,000Rp/room) where there was no room, towel, soap, A/C, nothing-so it's really individual choice which accomodation you'll select. Breakfast in a gardenic balcony is another good service here.

nice and beautiful hostel, located besides railway station and main street (Malioboro) just only problems to book trip, resolved with improvisation

Hostel 1001 Malam is in a great location, in the middle of Malioboro. ( just a short walk from the Transjogja Busway station at Malioboro 1) . The staff at the hostel were just so lovely, friendly and helpful. As I am travelling alone, it is indeed nice to arrive back at the hostel to smiling faces. Ratno, Hartini, Henri and the rest of the staff really made my stay at the hostel so enjoyable. Thanks a lot, guys! I must mention the wonderful breakfasts that I was served every morning.
