Our stay was brief but very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again. It was convenient to everything and we felt very safe.

This is more like a large B&B rather than a hostel. It does the job. Bathrooms are a bit cramped and old but are also okay. Location is excellent, only 2 min walk from the train station. Good breakfast. You should compare this place to other B&B 's before booking.

Essentially the only hostel/budget option in Garmisch. It's clean enough and comfortable. The atmosphere was not very welcoming but it does the trick.

Overall a pretty good experience. Staffs are friendly and rooms are clean.

Centrally located and nice staff. The hostel is very average in a lot of ways, with a good (but a bit expensive) breakfast, not so good wifi connection and a bit boring atmosphere.

It was really good!! The room was amazing. It's the most comfortable hostel where I have been. Also it's like quiet bayrisch . I'm very happy.

The place was very quiet, hard to meet people. However, an excellent location and the beds were comfy and bathrooms were always clean!

I would recommend this hostel.. Rooms were comfortable, staff were friendly, good lounge and dining areas & in an excellent location - close to the train, the gorge, restaurants & shops. It seemed a bit like a ghost town when I arrived but I guess most people were out hiking.

The hostel is in an excellent location near the train station and by the river that leads to the Partenachklamm Gorge that is about a 45 min lovely hike from the hostel. The hostel itself lacked atmosphere, but was a convenient place to sleep. I did feel like the hosts were a bit cold and not very friendly, though they did answer my questions.

Staff had no clue about anything, full of incorrect information and quite rude. Location was great! Beds were comfy and sheets were clean. No lockers. No fridge or stove or even microwave to use. Basically an overly priced bad hotel. Too bad it's the only one in town.

You can see that the whole hostel is very old, and they could really need some new bathrooms. The bathrooms were a bit moldy here and there, so if you expect a super new hostel, you might want to look for another option. They do not offer a kitchen or hairdryers, which would've come in handy, but it's survivable. The beds and the sinks in the rooms were very clean, the staff and breakfast was very nice :)

The location was great. Very close to bus/train station and bus stops for getting around the town. However this hostel could use a lot of improvement with it's facilities. I feel like it's pretty standard for a hostel to have a kitchen hosts can use and if not a kitchen at least a microwave to heat things up in, especially for the price that is charged. Also the WIFI was pretty nonexistent in the rooms (though I was on 1st floor). And atmosphere was non existent.

Some members of the staff were rude. The facilities themselves were rather old but acceptable.

Great location to main train station and the station for Zugsptize. The staff were not as friendly as staff at other places I have stayed but they did provide advice on places to see in the area. There's no luggage room but lockers at the train station (€3 for 24 hours). Breakfast was €6 for coffee, tea, cereal, breads, spreads, salami and cheese platter. Drinks available in common room for €2.

We loved staying here! We figured out that the "2962" in the name is the altitude of the mountain in meters. Our one warning is that there aren't lockers in the rooms (at least not in the private room with shared bathroom we were in), but aside from that we loved it!
