after readi the previous reviews we didnt expect much. its a very dirty hostel. Bed sheets looked notwashed and mattress was very uncomfortable. Shower was in the room (strange) and the one in the bathroom didnt work. Two out of three toilets were blocked! staff didnt pay attention when we arrived at all. at 3am the staff came to or dorm and woke everyone up to present the documents because of ther mistake in reservations!

I had a great time in this hostel, I found the staff very helpful and courteous, they were particularly good in advising me of things to do in London as this was my first trip. The rooms were clean and spacious, if a little bare. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting, with a bar and a coffee shop so I got to meet travellers from many other countries. I would really advise the place as good budget accommodation when visiting in London. John Charles, Wales

I was afraid, that it will be a very dim place, for such cheap money. But its a good hostel to stay, clean and nice staff, only a bit noisy as its really close to road.

Overall this hostelwas very good value for money. Would be nice to have a good kitchen but all other facilities made up for it. Breakfast was great and showers good. Beds very comfortable.

This hostel is a disaster. During our 7 night stay they made us move to different rooms twice (meaning we had to check out at 10 am and our next room wasn't available until 2 pm). The staff aren't the brightest people on earth. The hostel is packed with illegal immigrants that speak different languages and look kind of sketchy. There is no pressure or hot water on the third floor so I'd recommend showering on the 2nd floor. Poor condition of bed mattresses, you have to pay a deposit to rent pots

They could not get the wifi working all the time i was there which made it a waste of time. Couldn't sleep as in my 4 bed dorm there were 10+ people partying all night (inc. smoking pot) Upper bunks are seriously dangerous - someone will break their neck someday

A part of the staff is helpful, but some is not. The price seems to be very low, but honestly, there are place where for one pound more, you have a breakfast and wifi. In this hostel, you pay every single thing: Wifi: 3£, a day in 2013!!! The kitchen have NO cuttlery and even to boil water it takes ages. There are other hostel better located for the same price. The hostel is averagely clean. Thanks for the part of the staff helpful. But the wifi at this price is really a deal breaker.

We didn`t expect much for the price but the beds were horrible (you felt every bedspring) and the kitchen was really dirty. We stayed in a 8 bedroom and the shower was in the middle of the room and they didn`t accepted credit cards. We wanted to leave earlier but they didn`t refund the money. So we stayed...

if you only need a bed for a night, this hostel is perfect.it's really cheap and the hostel is just across the underground station.but if you'd like to stay&cook your own dinner or don't want to pay 1,50 for breakfast, than stay somewhere else.you have to ask for kitchen supplies (no knives availible) and hope they still have something to work with.kitchen is freezing (couldn't close windows).didn't feel secure, though there's cctv.bathrooms smelled bad.no lockers. staff was helpfull or ignorant

Worst hostel EVER. Terrible location, rude staff, dirty, smelly, expensive internet acess! The only good thing about it was the heater. Other than that it was a horrible experience.
