To be fair staff was friendly. Location alright. Price outrageous, worst hostel I've ever stayed at. Messed up my room reservation twice, filthy and pillows were old and disgusting.

This hostel is fine if you just want to to crash somewhere for the night and don't have very high standarts...or any standarts at all.Altough the location is not that bad, as it is directly opposite the station, the building is ugly, the rooms are dirty, the beds partly broken, the facilities are lacking enormously and the staff is very very unfriendly and unhelpful. Yes, it is cheap and yes, it kinda serves its purpose, but I've been to much much nicer and better located hostels for less money.

People drunk in the hall, they gave me a wrong room and after going up and down (4 or 5 floor) they gave me another room which was still with the dirty sheets from the morning before so I did also my bed because they wouldn't do it ( the bed was really unconfortable).Never again.

I needed a single room and had to pay for two persons, that was expensive for the standard.

Worst place I have ever stayed in. Disgustingly dirty, the other residents were obnoxious and it was just a horrid experience. should be shut down. I would have paid one pound to stay in that hell hole.

The first room I stayed at was a mess and the door was not closed because it stuck and wouldn't unless you hip check it. The second room I stayed at was cleaned better and the door closed. Basically you get what you pay for. Its a cheap bed in zone 2.

Being a hostel, my expectations were hardly high to begin with. However this hostel in particular definitely fell below expectation. Not that we spent much time in the room, what was there was musty, damp, and extremely worn. One bed of the bunk-bed could barely be classified as a mattress, it was so dipped and used. To add to that the bed-springs were so low and dipped it was horrid to sleep under let alone sleep on. Not enough characters to explain this awful room and stay, sadly.

More than disgusting!! The room was extremely small for 8 people. There was NO PLACE neither for the suitcase nor for the valuable things... and wait for it: the shower was inside the room in a corner... and I dont even wanna talk about the state of it. It's incredible that the government of London allows something like this....

This hostel was disgusting! Cramped, dirty and staff were rude and not helpful. Cheap price but avoid. Much nicer hostels for similar price.

Not a great experience but very cheap... booked 3 nights and they tried to kick us out after 2 claiming thats all we paid for. Had the email on my phone which sorted the problem but they were all ready to kick us out. Print your receipt!!! Bedding was a bit manky.

When I arrived at Hostel 639, my first alarm was: what a dosshouse! The staff appears not a bit serious. There is no more service than get the money - and maybe advice if you ask. When I opened the door, which was a bad joke in security matters, it hit the desk! so you could just open the door a bit. Room was tiny. You slept with the feet of your neighbors in your face so to say. Bathroom facilities and general cleanliness were ok. Breakfast for 1,5 is a good thing I have to admit.
