The staff at Hostel 64 were friendly and helpful, and were always ready and on stand-by to assist. I had a great time in Osaka, and would definitely come back again.

Nice, modern little hostel. The room was very clean and the decor is cute and simple. There's a little bar and a lobby where you can use their wi-fi. Each floor had different showers and I enjoyed each one :) The person at the front desk speaks decent English and is very helpful. The hostel is two stops from Shinsaibashi or a 560¥ taxi ride if you plan to stay out late. My only complaint is the thin walls and annoying lock on our door.

The hostel was very clean. Helpful staff. The room was spacious. However, I found the room I was sleeping in picked up a lot of surrounding noise from within the shared facilities, which made it difficult to have a restful nights sleep. I feel improvement is needed with sound proofing the walls. Breakfast was delicious.

Great design , cosy and brand new rooms but a little expensive for an hotel where you have to share a bathroom and walk 10-15mn to go to the city center . The bed was not very confortable and you can hear easily people in the other rooms. I stayed 2 nights and I enjoy my stay but I wouldn't have stay longer.

The location is not that good. A little bit hard to find. The overall atmosphere is excellent, the bed is big in the dorm, and the bathroom is very impressive.

rarely do i give reviews and rarely such high praise. but of 60+ countries i've travelled in and places i've stayed this one ranks among the best. clean, quiet, stylish, friendly, comfortable and well-located. don't look elsewhere in osaka. and don't pass too quickly through. kyoto and tokyo get the attention but this city is packed full of friendly folks and fantastic food.

This little hostel was a wonderful find! The staff spoke great English and the whole vibe was very cosy. The double beds in the basement dorm were a bonus, too, and possibly the most comfortable sleep I've had in Japan. Another bonus: The wifi was reliable and fast! Tucked away down a side street, It's a little hard to find - I had to call for directions - so if you're taking the subway, plan in advance. Once you're there though it's pretty central. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed in the mixed dorm downstairs. IT was very comfortable with your own bed. The location is about a fifteen minute walk to shinsaibashi station and shopping area. THe staff are very helpful and willing to answer questions. The door at night is a little bit of a pain and if you don't bring your own laptop expect to pay for internet.

We had a great time staying here. Three of us stayed in a private room. The tatami mat room and futon was a great experience. There are many reasonably restaurants. We did not see too much of Osaka as we went to Nara which is a great day trip. They have bikes to rent which we would have done if more time. Cool hostel

Travelling in Japan you get pampered with great hostels. Hostel 64 is a great hostel by any international standard, but taking price into consideration, this one is not as good value for money as can be had at many other japanese hostels.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at. It's very well designed and cared for. I enjoyed the massage chair in the lobby after a long day of walking around. It's in a fairly central location which makes it convenient. The staff was all very friendly and I enjoyed talking to them. Definitely get the breakfast it is very tasty as they make the bread there everyday.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hostel 64. The room was cute, comfortable, and larger than we expected. The bed was very comfortable. The common areas were fun, well designed, and made us want to linger, but we had so much too see. I loved the massage chair and the continental breakfast with homemade bread. There are simpler hostels in Osaka, but this one was worth the yen. Nami was so helpful in helping us find fun excursions and great udon shops. She is one in a million!
