Really cool funky hostel with lovely staff! Bit of an interesting location, doesn't seem to be much going on around it & i can't say there was great atmosphere in the hostel, but nonetheless had a lovely stay!!!

The hostel is in a cool little neighbourhood, and exhibits local art all over the common room. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The hostel is only a 15 minute walk from Namba, so no need to worry about catching the last train home! Only drawbacks are that there are limited cooking utensils (fridge/toaster/microwave, no stove), and the bathrooms kind of smell because they have urinals in them. But overall it was a great place to stay in a convenient and interesting location!

It was a good hostel, it had everything we needed. Walking distance to subway and main town areas which is always a plus point.

I didn't get to spend much time here (only one night) but it was a great place to stay! The bed was big and comfortable, and it had a cool atmosphere. The seat shower on the first floor was an experience! It was a bit far from the areas I was exploring, but would definitely recommend.

A bit far away from the main attractions, but near public transportation, offers bike rentals, sells breakfast, offers a map of the area around the hostel, and has a good variety of services and amenities.

Good place to stay - the hostel itself is very cool and the common areas are great. There is just not that much privacy in the dorms though. However it was a good place to sleep, provided you have ear plugs and an eye mask.

Decently clean hostel that is close to subway station. Staff was very helpful. Enjoyed the bed and private curtain!

A nice hostel. A little more on the quiet side, which can be nice. I didn't spend much time here though. The beds are bigger then most other hostels, but a little uncomfortable. I slept fine, however. The showers are really nice especially the sit down shower. Definitely a hostel for the older traveler.

Very spacious room and beautiful lounge area. I also appreciated the detailed maps and suggestions of what to do around Osaka.

PROS: - Hostel 64 is made up of very friendly staff. - The interior of the building is beautiful. - There's a massage chair! You have to pay, though. - Our bed was extremely comfortable. - We were able to rent bikes for 200 yen each. - After checkout, we left our bags there for the day without any issues. CONS: - The walls are extremely thin. You may be woken up by your neighbors walking around or sliding their doors. The hostel provides earplugs for free.

Hostel 64 was lovely. Despite the maybe out of the way location (which is actually very close to a subway station) they offer hire bikes which IMO is a much better way of getting around the city (: the facilities were great and the staff members were very friendly. The only negative I have to really say is that the curtains in the dorms don't offer much privacy, but you are hardly there anyways so it was okay (: Would consider staying again.

It was very nice! Very friendly and they waited for us since our flight was delayed. We arrived at the hostel pass 11 and they were very nice and accomodating. The next day, they helped us book a taxi for osaka station! Recommend for everyone

Cute place, loved the Danish modern lounge in my room. Western Bed was very uncomfortable, perhaps better to request Japanese futon. No kitchen really. Showers were a little strange. Very noisy as walls per paper thin.Wonderful staff and great bike hire!

The staff are so cute and friendly. As with everywhere in Japan, the attention to detail and professionalism is in abundance. Very cool place to stay and the location is just ten minutes walk from the main centre of mamba etc.

8 MIN walk from the nearest station. Great location if you would like to walk around Shinsaibashi, Donmtobori or Nipponbashi, hutting for famous food.

Loved the dorm beds, it was so nice having a little curtained area. The lounge area was very nice and the breakfast was good too! Some staff were not as friendly as staff other hostels I've stayed at in Osaka, although some were very helpful. Overall, a good experience and beautiful hostel!
