It's a pretty good hostel. It didn't have much atmosphere but it could be because there was no people as I went in low season. Probably during the summer the atmosphere was really cool. Beds are ok, the place is clean and the staff is really helpful. It's a little far from the center but you can walk for around 20 minutes or take a bus there (walking is the best option, you get to know parts of Florence people don't usually get to know). It's really close to Campo di Marte station too.

20min bus ride into town, but easy enough to use and the stop is close by the hostel. No kitchen facilities which I was sad about because I wanted to make my own dinner, but they do offer dinner everynight for 7euros. Good wifi and beer garden would be great in summer.
I really liked the building and the lounges. We stayed in an all-female dorm that was very, very basic. The bathroom did not have hand soap at all. The beds are bunked and the mattress I slept on had a large indent in the middle where so many people had slept. A cheap place to stay, but expect minimal comforts.
It was uncomfortable that in a dorm room of 8, the bathroom door was not a full door (space below and above) so therefore not sound proof or private. Wifi didn't work in the dorm room. Really friendly staff, great gelato place down the street.
Really nice place in a great location, the staff were brilliant and we had a very pleasant stay, wifi is great too! Highly recommend!
Really nice hostel. The buffet dinner is a really good option in an otherwise expensive city. Great wifi and really nice common areas.
Perfect for a budget traveller. I also met some great people at this hostel
The hostel is kinda easy to find, but, to ours expectation, the quality of the room is difficult to say a good. But, staff was kindly though. Wifi was kinda good and the breakfast buffet was good. Around there, there's only a small fast-food shop to find something to eat, if it was late in the night.
This place is great if you're using it for the facilities. It is very clean and so that is great.... Keep in mind it is haunted, some have problems and most do not. :)
The rooms are really spacious with plenty of power points. The bathrooms are ok but some of the lights didn't work in the shower but always lots of toilet paper and bins. They gave us towels as well. You can get buffet breakfast for €4 and buffet dinner for €7. Highly recommend the dinner. Next door is a supermarket and an ATM and only a 3minute walk to the station and only a 5min train ride to main florence station. Only takes a 20min walk to get to the main shopping strip and the uffizi.
I do wish I could have locked the bathroom door. Otherwise, it was great. The wifi worked just fine for me. Showers were nice and hot, and it was nice to have the option of buying a cheap dinner and breakfast at the hostel. It's located outside the city center, but I liked that as you're away from most of the touristy stuff.
Nice neighborhood, close to one of the train stations. The staff was really cooperative and kind providing information about the city. Would be better if they have more computer to use internet.
Great Hostel! Staff was awesome, very friendly. Dinner deal is aamazing along with breakfast. Location is okay, better because train station that can take you to central city is nearby. Would definitely go back!
This hostel was very average. The dinner buffet was definitely worth every cent. The dishes offered in it changed every night, but always had good variety: salad, vegetables, pastas, rice, potatoes, etc. And a glass of wine or beer included all for 7.50€. For me, the staff was ok. The facilities were clean. They give towels and blankets with your stay. There's a fridge and you can eat your own food inside but not out. Location was ideal because the train was around the corner. Safe neighborhood.
Location next to Campo di Marte train station makes the hostel an easy starting point for must-see Florence tour (you can reach Santa Maria Novella Station in 5 minutes by train). We stayed there for only one night and did not socialise much, but I bet the garden area creates a great opportunity for meetinh other travellers. On the other hand, the hostel is big enough to rest, if this is what you are looking for. The staff is helpful, the hostel is clean, definitely recommended.
The location was good only a 5 minute walk to the one train station and bus stops close to the hostel. The buffet dinners were great and reasonably priced! Staff were always helpful and friendly! They were one of the few who actually have the extras they list. Would recommend this place!
The hostel was clean, staff where very friendly, breakfast was good. The bar was okay except 3 of the nights I stayed they didn't do cocktails which was Thursday Friday Saturday and it was walking distance but after walking all day it feels so far away so I just caught the bus. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.
Zero atmosphere. It didn't feel like a youth hostel, but rather more like a dodgy hotel. They charge you for bazaar things and won't let you sit outside for dinner unless you are eating THEIR food and drink (not free). There is no real common area - if you are a solo traveller, consider staying somewhere else.
