Good welcoming and an outside bar. The hostel is located quite far from the central of Florence. The facilities weren't at good condition, i.e. we can't find a fan remote anywhere in the room, and some of the wood-type facilities are degraded.

They don't provide baggage lockers, the bathroom was not so good (not that bad, but I've seen better ones - the door didn't have a key!), but you can stay there for 1 or 2 days. Breakfast is too expensive (4 euro), near a trains station. Nothing special about this hostel... well, the internet was free on their pcs...

Rooms should have lockers. There should be also an secure area to leave luggage.

Without requesting it or being charged more, I was upgraded to an en-suite room. Excellent stay, minus location.

The hostel is far from Firenze downtown, but is easy to get there by bus. The atmosphere is great, the rooms are good and clean.

I had a very pleasant stay. Thought it was strange to be staying in a room of eight beds alone. Felt a little eerie with the large hallways and big room. The computers with quick internet was a major plus. Also it was a pleasant walk to go into the city center, and for the evening the bus stop is right outside the hostel. Only negative was the mosquitoes.

Real hostel is different than hostel portrayed on website. Smelly bathroom that was not attended after we asked for assistance. Room was dark and filled with mosquitoes. Hostel looked like insanity ward with long eerie halls. Loud travelers can be heard very easily from room. Positive side - laundry facilities, free wifi, great breakfast, and good location to train/bus station into heart of Florence. Would not recommend.

The staff was ok, not really nice or helpful and the storage room for our luggage was actually the hall so anyone could access it...On our last day, we couldn't even leave our luggage there because they were expecting a large group, so to avoid confusion we were better off using the lockers at the train station which were not free. Besides that, the room was of good size and very clean. Although it's a bit far from the center, it's well connected and easily accessible by bus. Good deal in all.

The beds are amazing and comfortable. The atmosphere was comfortable, but the doors seem a little insecure but I would stay there again! Also we only had one 1 plug that worked in the room but no big deal, still a great stay.

Our shower was clogged, the water wouldn't drain. I went down to the front desk to ask them to either switch our room, or fix the shower. They did neither, they didn't even send someone up to check the problem until late that night when we were all asleep. They came in and woke us all up to ask about the shower, and then still never checked the problem! The next morning when I came to ask for a refund, and they claimed that we had never reported the problem and would not give us any discount

This hostel is fine. It's cheap. The location isn't very good, but it's easy to get to where you want to go. My largest problem with this hostel was the staff. They were terrible. Whenever we asked them a question, they just barked an answer at us and returned to their computers. We ended up spending our entire first day in Florence lost because they gave us the wrong bus information. Come here knowing where you're going, and with a map, because you won't get any help from them.

Everything was very nice at the hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dinners they were offering were very, very good. Lots of food and very well presented. The breakfasts were also very good. I would recommend this hostel. I really, really liked it.

There should be a rrom where people can meet, talk, watch TV or some DVDs. This is, to me, the only flaw regarding this hostel.

The showerhead in our room was broken, and the hostel looks rather old inside and is a bit far from the city centre. Atleast it's close to a busstop, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

All I am going to say is that in the 1950's the U.S. Government trained Chimpanzees to fly a spaceship; I would like to see how well these chimps could run a hostel and I know a good one for them to start with.
