Comfortable, clean, very close to the metro and close to the Central station, clean, and well equipped kitchen, clean toilets, friendly staff. If I am in Milan again, I will focus here!

This hostel is a perfect starting point for exploring Florence and offers a very good value for money. As for the downsides, it can get quite loud during the night, as some travelers are a bit too jolly and the room doors offer no protection against noise.

A large hostel outside of center of Florence. Room was pleasant and clean, showers hot. Buffet breakfast was good (5 euros). To get to/from hostel to center of city, you have to take bus 17 (1.50 euros each way).

Avoid staying during the weekend. During the weekday, it's like a heaven but during the weekend, you'll experience the hell. Some drunken guys hang around the corridor and you can't just sleep! But thinking value for money, it's acceptable.

This one of the typical hostel experiences and serves its purpose as a place to sleep and get a hot shower. Literally spent 8 hours there from the time of check in to checking out. The bathrooms are slightly dirty so I would recommend shower shoes! Also the location is much farther out of time then I would have really liked. Definitely manageable when taking pubic transportation except very late at night. The staff was friendly and helpful! Provided directions and maps.

A really good hostel in an unusual location. Friendly, English-speaking stuff. Clean rooms, bathrooms need renovation and there aren't many of them which might be a problem during high season. In winter it was not very well heated (as old buildings often are) so I'd recommend taking your own sleeping bag (as I did). Other than that it's a great place, close enough to the historical center. There are groceries, trattorias and a great gelateria nearby.

Very good place to stay in Florence! It's even better than I thought! You can call home for free(though I didn't use the phone to do so bcz I didn't have enough time) and use the computers to search for infos. It only takes 10-15 minutes to travel from the station to 7 santi. I'd like to go there again.

We liked the stay here, but there are two downs: longest checkin ever and the fact that we entered, took the key, and computer(we had left after the checkin) and were not even asked for a name:/ . The room was really nice and really clean. Location is good - but not perfect. But I would definitely recommend it!

This hostel is far from everything. It looks like an ancient hospital with some hospital beds ! If you want to review the Frankenstein movie of something this hostel is a best choice. It is very scary while behind a neglected church ! Very poor rooms with low quality bathroom, very noisy during the night, rude staff, without common room or lobby. It was the worst place we have ever been !

it's not near the downtown, however you can by walking or even bus. There is a supermarket just nearby. The all staffs are very nice. I only stay 2 nights, but Firenze is not very big so, even you are not located in downdown, will be fine.

This Hostel was amazing! We stayed in the mixed private dorm room and it was huge, very clean, and the bathroom was also nice. The staff were great, they gave us a map and circled everything that we wanted to see, recommended really good restaurant and were all around very friendly and helpful people.

We checked-in late night & the staff greeted us friendly in excellent English. We had booked & paid for 2 beds in mixed dormitory room. The staff upgraded our room to double bed private (ensuite) with no extra charge! We saved around 50 euro for that. Even though a bit far from centre, it's clean, comfortable, well heated with good free facilities (wifi, bag storage, computer). I wrote my review including some photographs of Hostel 7 Santi in Bahasa Indonesia on my blog http://is.gd/hostel7santi

It was pretty hard for us to find at first time, coz you have to take the bus if you start the journey from the train station. It takes about 10mins and you will see it almost in front of the bus stop. I only stayed one night, but it was affordable price with facilities.

We stayed over Christmas and because the hostel was empty, they upgraded us for no extra charge. The staff were friendly and all spoke perfect English! The meals were cheap and all you can eat, and the location was super convenient from downtown Florence- only one bus ride of about 15 minutes. For a couple of travellers it was perfect! My only complaint was that the "ensuite" in our room was literally a shower and a sink IN THE ROOM... So my bed (the one next to the shower) got wet.

Due to the price we paid the location wasn't very good, to go into the main part of town you had to catch a 20min bus ride. However, you could get a very good breakfast for only 4 euro!

It was great that there was free wifi and international calling. The bathrooms need to be stocked with more toilet paper because almost every stall ran out by the end of the day.
