Great Hostel! Staff was awesome, very friendly. Dinner deal is aamazing along with breakfast. Location is okay, better because train station that can take you to central city is nearby. Would definitely go back!
This hostel was very average. The dinner buffet was definitely worth every cent. The dishes offered in it changed every night, but always had good variety: salad, vegetables, pastas, rice, potatoes, etc. And a glass of wine or beer included all for 7.50€. For me, the staff was ok. The facilities were clean. They give towels and blankets with your stay. There's a fridge and you can eat your own food inside but not out. Location was ideal because the train was around the corner. Safe neighborhood.
Location next to Campo di Marte train station makes the hostel an easy starting point for must-see Florence tour (you can reach Santa Maria Novella Station in 5 minutes by train). We stayed there for only one night and did not socialise much, but I bet the garden area creates a great opportunity for meetinh other travellers. On the other hand, the hostel is big enough to rest, if this is what you are looking for. The staff is helpful, the hostel is clean, definitely recommended.
The location was good only a 5 minute walk to the one train station and bus stops close to the hostel. The buffet dinners were great and reasonably priced! Staff were always helpful and friendly! They were one of the few who actually have the extras they list. Would recommend this place!
The hostel was clean, staff where very friendly, breakfast was good. The bar was okay except 3 of the nights I stayed they didn't do cocktails which was Thursday Friday Saturday and it was walking distance but after walking all day it feels so far away so I just caught the bus. I enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.
Zero atmosphere. It didn't feel like a youth hostel, but rather more like a dodgy hotel. They charge you for bazaar things and won't let you sit outside for dinner unless you are eating THEIR food and drink (not free). There is no real common area - if you are a solo traveller, consider staying somewhere else.
The good thing about this hostel was the bar and the dinner buffet. The room was clean and spacious (I stayed in a 4-bed dorm) but the shared bathroom wasn't the best, the showers weren't the cleanest. I wouldn't stay here again because the location is further out than I would have liked, I had stayed at a more central hostel the night before for less money. When you factor the inconvenience factor of the bus with the 3ish euro you'll spend on it each day, it wasn't worth what I paid.
Great hostel. Really good common area outside with cheap drinks so it is a great place to meet people. Bathrooms were a tad dirtier than other hostels I have stayed at but nothing too unbearable. Only downside is that it is a bit far from the main tourist attractions in Florence.
Happy hour €1 sangria was pretty awesome. Wish they had kitchen facilities but I have no complaints, would come here again. Instead of having there dinner though I would recommended paying 1 more euro and walking right our of the hostel then right again towards the bridge, it also includes a drink and buffet all you eat food with more options
