Toilets, bathroom and kitchen were dirty. Room needed some cleaning as well. Beds are not comfortable, you can feel all of the springs of the mattress. For this price you can find many other hostels with better conditions. Otherwise it is good for a short stay and it is really close to everything.

Hostel AVA was okay but nothing special. The receptionist was really friendly though and the location was great however, the church bells outside are LOUD. For some reason they seem to ring multiple times at random throughout the night which was really annoying. I know they can't avoid this really but without aircon or any sort of ventilation in the room you need to keep the windows open. Beds are also really uncomfortable which was a shame.

Location is great !

The location of this hostel could not be any better. Right in the very heart of Ljubljana. Rooms are very quirky with mezzanines however the beds are extremely creaky, the slightest movement sounds like thunder, however the location makes up for this. Only other drawback was that the room was very hot but other then that the staff were lovely and the hostel was buzzing with travels from all over the world.

Hostel is in the middle of the center! friendly staff, when we are here there were no backpackers to meet.

The location is great, just a few steps from the triple bridge, and the staff is amazingly helpful.

Very uncomfortable beds with paperthin mattresses - they made so much noise that everybody in your room woke up if you moved just a bit. There was a loft with two beds in the room and the ladder going up to the loft was situated at the bedpost of the other two beds with literally no space for passing the ladder without crawling up in another persons bed. Room was too small and intimate for 4 persons. Dirty and loads of bugs everywhere! Only 4 toilets total! No lockers! No hot water! Great staff!

It would be an improvement if there was staff 24/7.

excellent location, secure (although not sure about lockers), not sure about fridge facilities, friendly staff, easy check out process

Good location right in the midsole of the main square. Easy to walk to from the main train station. Wifi was good, staff was helpful. Cons. Beds are so uncomfortable, not much of an atmosphere, cooking facilities you can make do with.

Helpful reception, amazing location. Decent kitchen but no fridge. Communal area was nice and several showers to use

Very nice stay, clean and quiet (except the church bell right by the corner which rang all_the_time). Nice location also, walk distance from everywhere, lots of nice cafes nearby. No AC in the rooms which is a minus.

Great location for a hostel, only 1 min from the Pink Church in Centre! Cool visual arts building with winding staircase and paintings everywhere however the rooms were a bit of a let down. Mattresses were just placed on the floor or on top of pallets, did not make for a great nights sleep, I do however have to say that the staff were all fantastic and even upgraded our room before we arrived in the City

Really nice hostel with very friendly and helpful staff who spoke really good english. The rooms were really clean and well looked after. The shower curtains were a bit dirty but thats the only problem I had. Would definitely stay here again

I stayed 1 night there and I could use a room alone like my own room at that time. Room looks so arty as you can see from the photo, although bed was quite shabby and I couldn't find the kitchen. There was no locker, just a room key. Location is perfect so I'd recommand to people who will stay short.

You can't get a better location in Ljubljana, absolutely amazing. The staff is pretty cool as well and is always prepared to help with any of the issues you have. The only minor problem with the brilliant location is the ocasional riging of the bells from the church that overlooks the Prešern square, but your sensory inhibition kicks in quite fast so this it a minor issue. Amazing value for the money you pay.

Staff were speaking english well, 4th floor without elevator was not so comfortable. Cleanliness in common showers was not very good. It could be cleaned more often. Parking of car is worse in whole city - 15 minute walk from the hostel.
