Our stay at Hostel Alamo was comfortable and we had no problems at all. Our bus from Valparaíso arrived much earlier than expected (3am instead of 6am) and the hostel let us sleep in the living room until places for breakfast opened. We stayed in the 4 bed mixed dorm, which was really quite small. The lockers were under repair so the hostel provided a locker in the basement for us to use (which was a little inconvenient, but really not a big deal). The breakfast was simple, but tasty.

I had a nice time at Hostel Alamo. It is a quiet hostel, clean and the location was great, as it was walking distance from all the main attractions of Mendoza. I would recommend it to anyone going to Mendoza looking for a quieter hostel.

We had a nice stay in the hotel, we were in a double with private bathroom. All was OK, room and bathroom was quite large and very clean.

Our double rooms were of generous size and so were the bathrooms. A good breakfast, a clean and organized kitchen, nice common room, and very secure. Very comfortable.

Really nice hostel, they speak English, the rooms are clean, the location is great, it's very quiet, mainly couples, the only issue I had was being really cold because the blankets were thin and Mendoza was cold! Would absolutely stay again.

Spotlessly clean. Would recommend. Downside is the tiny kitchen, no tea or coffee provided during the day and the shower in our double was truly awful, you'd get more water out of the sand in the Sahara.

Good location, clean and friendly. Only complaint being the bunk beds being too small(you would be in trouble if over 6ft.) and mattresses being uncomfortable.

Bldg Location Correct,"Superior"=VERY MISLEADING Apt back of bldg 2nd floor, view=guess ? Maid service began 3rd day. 1 bedrm not 2 as per HW. "Great Sofa" - not great in fact did not exist. A padded seat side of which is 99% unglued, multiple cracks or tears in padding, NO blankets for bed..single sheet,no heat.Suggested refund of $45 pesos to lower offer they had on HW. 40+ years of backpacking the world thie owner is only the 2nd such callous type we've encountered. This is Apt not Hostel

keep up the good work! Really enjoyed my stay and your staff help. Really appreciate your letting me shower after I checked out, ...after returning from a day tour.

We spent 5 nights at this hostel and we enjoyed it. There are just two things to complain about. First, the bathrooms were sometimes really dirty and smelled. Second, the atmosphere among the guests was not friendly. There are a lot of double or twin rooms so it seemed that there were a lot of couples and it was hard to get in contact with other guests. When we said "hola" or "hi" to other travellers, we hardly got any response. Still, the hostel is worth its money.

I enjoyed staying in this hostel. The swiming poolis actually big enough to swim, which was a nice surprise andth water was clean, so it was a pleasure to have a swim in the evening after all day trip. The hostel has 2 computers with very slow connection to internet and you are allowed to use computer for only 15 minutes, which is not enough to even open your mailbox. Wifi is very slow too.

A solidly good hostel in Mendoza, with friendly staff, lots of pleasant common space, basic and clean rooms. It's big, though... I'd been expecting something smaller. But while it feels social, it was not a loud late-night party. Overall pretty solid option.
