Great atmosphere, lovely helpful staff. nice breakfast

If there are two of you then there are some good hotels nearby for E30 with ensuite and breakfast. Shabby Twin room at Albania with shared bathroom was E29.50.

Big garden, helpful staff, nicely located, extra large lockers, spacious dorms, complete kitchen, clean...it basically has everything you ask for when you go to a hostel, so if you go to Tirana it is definitely a must go. Thanks to Claas for all the tips about the city and the rest of the staff for making this wonderful stay happen!

This hostel is great! with loads of activities and events to get to know people, also they serves free dinner the day I arrived! The breakfast is good, the facilities are great, i love having my own plug and nightlight.

loved the atmosphere of the place, it's got fruit trees and lots of outdoor seating for everyone to hang out together. also free yoga class every day! they have a tv with a hard drive full of movies and tv shows if you want a quiet night in. owners are fantasticaly friendly and give you tons of information on how to make your stay in tirana prime.

Only 2 showers, so must time out good. Showers I took were freezing cold. Everything else was awesome.

Hi Tom...you must have missed the other bathrooms...we have four of them. That makes it here evan more awesome:) thanx for the review...

Friendly hostel run by German owner Klaus who greets you in a welcoming manner (likely with no shirt if its hot, ha ha). Rooms are unlocked but have lockers under beds. Nice outside area great for socialising in the Albanian summer, also tap beer available. Directions to the hostel are very good. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the "night tour" as the value for money is not there, especially meal included which is very cheap if bought separately and the restaurant doesn't serve alcohol.

Claas and Martin run the coziest hostel ever. Close to the city center, but very calm and relaxed at the same time. You almost dont want to explore Tirana because hanging out in the big garden is so enjoyable. Staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful with anything you might need help with. And they provide for an excellent and healthy breakfast to start the day. If you go to Tirana, make sure you stay in this place!

great place for a quick overnight in Tirana. it's a bit hard to find but otherwise no complaints.

Nice cosy place close to the city and restaurants. Wery kind staff and a nice garden with a turtle. The rooms for 6 people are big. Honestly- i love the place and want to go back again. Best regards The toiletseatbreaker

We had a great stay here! We were skeptical at first but don't let anything dissuade you from staying here. They took the hostel guests out for huge dinner (for such a good price), gave us a tour of the city and brought us to a few great bars. It was very social, the hostel was clean, and the breakfast was delicious. We owe our awesome night in Tirana to Hostel Albania! Thank you Claas!

Over all, I had a wonderful time as people runs the hostel was very nice. I liked the patio as well (I had my breakfast there every morning!). One thing I would like to ask would be: please fix the mosquito shade.

great staff, very helpful. they give good recommendations for albania. Rooms was spacey, which is good. Bathrooms were ok. Garden was also nice to chill out. Location is also good for the case of Tirana :)

excellent hostel - very social, very nice staff - i'll be back for sure. i just love it when there is everything what makes backpacking more convenient, like electric plugs at the bed, large lockers, laundry facility, help with organzing day tours and so on... super nice garden.

This hostel is great! I couldn't recommend it more! Staff are friendly, smart, and switched on about the intricacies of Albania. In addition to that they look after you so well (shows in the individual breakfast art!) They'll take you on a night tour of dinner and show you some interesting points of the city, and are keyed into any festivals or music gigs that are going on. Beds each have individual night lights and power plugs. They'll even forgive you if you keep taking their lighters!

Fantastic hostel. Perfect location. But more than anything the staff here shine. So nice, friendly and kind - and at night they take you out for dinner, drinks and show you around Tirania. Dinner was amazing, authentic and less than 4 euro. Drinks were great too - if you're in tirania do yourself a favourite and stay here.

Albania itself is a really interesting and different place. The hostel really is somewhere that when the doors shut you can take a breath from the hectic outsides that are Tirana. The staff are really cool, had a good chat with one of the dudes about growing up in communist albania which made the visit to the city IMO. Facilities are ok, room was was fine, breakfast was nice, bathrooms could be a tad better, but for $35 a night for a private its whatev. We'd stay again for sure. thanks!

we had a blast! good location very near from shops and market, restaurants and bars. city centre is within easy reach. staff was super friendly and always ready to help us. great stay!!
