WiFi works, stove tops to use in the kitchen, always hot water, really great breakfasts, helpful and fun owners. Really the only downside is that the lounge, kitchen, and bathrooms are not heated, so they are very cold this time of year. But I've found this to be common during off season travel. Heaters in the room, so you can be fine there, and if several people are staying in (i.e., we had a thunderstorm one night, so movies in the lounge) they will put a heater there.

my stay at hostel albania was excellent. my host claas was great keeping me upto date with all the best things to do in albania and tirane. also we had a few drinks together and sampled some home made raki. the dog and the cats make it feel like home and are friendly and the fresh fruit trees are great to grab some fruit before you go out for the day. if you going to tirana there is no better place to stay... 10 out of 10

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Although low season and fewer guests, the host (Claas) always made sure there were things to do - taking us out to various nightlife in Albania! The puppy and kittens are a great addition to an already extremely comfortable hostel that feels like home. Breakfast is great and for the price this hostel is amazing value for money. Cannot recommend highly enough!!! Stay here if you are in Tirana, you won't regret it!!!! :)

Great place to stay... claus was great and extremely helpful... the place was very chill and all the trees and fresh fruit were amazing wish i could of stayed longer i highly recommend this place if your in tirana you cant go wrong here...

Also in winter time it´s a nice cosy place to stay. Thanks to Claas the owner, who was helpful for all my questions and needs. All dorms and rooms were with heating, the shower was warm and in good function, breakfast was big, the kitchen was well equipped and a great place to meet for cooking in the evening. Mandarines, oranges und lemons were free to be picked up in the garden and a nice white shepards dog and several small cats completed the stuff. What else do you want? Come here!

What else can I add and say about Hostel-Albania? It was a great choice I've made, and surely will do again, and offcourse, recommend to other backpackers and travellers. Lira and Claas, owners of the hostel, give you as soon as you arrive, the feeling of a pleasant and cosy home in the heart of Tirana. The hostel is very friendly, with all accesories and facilities a backpacker needs. Great and easy kitchen, comfortable living room, beautiful yard with fruits all over.

It`s a awesome place!! Very friendly and helpful staff, who knows what`s up in Tirana; very nice house with a beautiful garden to relax and enjoy fresh fruits in autumn. The living room and the big kitchen are very cosy. We planed to stay there for 6 days but we liked it so much, that we ended up with something like 2 weeks. Claud and Lira (I hope I am spelling their names correctly!) are wonderful. We showed up early in the morning to offers of coffee and tea from them, they knew great restaurants to eat at and went out of their way to arrange a tour for us. EXCELLENT!

I really love this Hostel. Such a cozy and relaxed location, just a few steps to the City Centre with the main points of interests in a big city like Tirana. Lovely garden with a lot of fruits. Restaurants, Fast Food, Shops, smaller stores are very close to the Hostel. The hosts are very friendly, helpful and relaxed. Many extras are included like washing machine, tea for free and that stuff. I can really recommend this place and and its absolutley worth to stay there if you are going to Tirana.

This was a very nice hostel and I would stay here again. Close enough to see everything quite easily and the owners are very helpful. They were great about letting me check in early and check out late. Good Wi-Fi and nice breakfast.

Great hostel, all you might need! great owners

Lovely hosts who were very happy to chat and help out with any questions. The garden is a lovely place to relax, kittens to play with an added bonus! Tasty breakfast with homemade jam. No locks on room door which is slightly worrying, but were provided with a free padlock for locker to put valuables in when we asked. Nice quiet location.

Hostel Albania was amazingly great! I didn't expect much from Tirana but the people in the hostel made my stay unforgetable ! thanks so much guys and see you next time for sure!

Claas and his crew provide a fun-loving hostel with good nights such as a Copa Libre rum cocktail night that was seriously cheap and well thought out and put together. Great place to stay in Tirana...
