The room was dingy, and very unappealing. Three sets of bunk beds crowded into it. The ladies I stayed with came and went all night. One snored like a lumberjack so I had hardly any sleep even with ear plugs and a sleeping pill. All in all a horrible experience.

We had the 6 bed mixed dorm with ensuite. Loved it because in the room there is a wall separating half of the beds, this making spacious and a little more privacy. Toilet and bath are also separated. We wished we had more days here. Will be back again.

Close to termini. Easy to see the sites if Rome. The neighborhood is a little unsafe. But the door is always closed and you have to be buzzed in... So that made me feel safe. Decent rooms and lockers inside the rooms. The lockers were difficult to lock. Nice breakfast!:) All together a nice stay.

Have used this hostel several times over the years without a problem.

The computers cost one euro per hour to use whether they work or not. Most of the staff is okay, but they seem more interested in making the hostel a party location rather than helping out with serious problems. The staff arrange many pub crawls and tours, but when a woman came to them upset because her $1000 train pass had been ruined, the man behind the counter laughed at her. My stay was fine. I recommend this hostel primarily for its party atmosphere and good location. The dorms are good.

A wonderful hostel with extremely helpful staff. Breakfast was a bit modest, but it was nice to be able to eat there as a fall-back option. The only downside was that it was located next to a park where lots of vagrants seemed to hang out at night, so as a woman I was a bit uncomfortable walking around by myself. Also, the park was very smelly due to the fact that they tended to pee on the street a lot. Other than that, it was great.

Awesome place to stay! The area is very safe and just cool to walk around. The staff was very friendly and even showed me where to get wine made in Venice for only 4 euros! I would definitely stay here again

Staff are nice and helpful. It is a good place to meet new friends as the common room is big. Comfortable to live here.

Good value for money. Staff very helpful, especially Ovens who helped me plan my day. Being cautious and detail-oriented, I asked LOTS of questions and he was VERY patient and helpful :) The continental breakfast was enough to last till lunch time. staff on kitchen duty was also cooperative & friendly. En-suite toilette was a blessing. Hostel surrounding area was quiet & safe. Close to Termini and restaurants. Hi Hostels usually exceed my expectations, which was the case here as well.

The location is great, just 5 min walking from the main station of the city. Very easy to go everywhere. The commodities are very good. There is an open kitchen that can be used, the bathrooms are clean, the rooms are large and very good. That was a great time in Alessandro Downtown hostel =]

The bed is very comfortable and bathroom inside is also clean, but the public toilet is stinky.

In general it's ok, however I was in a room for 8, and I saw that the hostel didn't change the blanket of one bed when a new person came over. That's disgusting. The breakfast was expensive for what they offer.

Really good. Very well located, very clean and safe. Comfortable beds in huge bedrooms. If not the best, one of the best hostel that I've ever been. Congratulation guys, and thank you.

There was a girl who vomited in the bathroom and it wasn't until well into the next day after it was cleaned and the smell lingered for days after, the location was good since it was near the train station, but I did not feel safe walking in the area after dark and the streets were very dirty. The day staff was fine but the night staff was not very friendly or welcoming.
