I booked for 3 nights and they probably overbooked. So, I had to move to other room. You will have to pay for breakfast and towels. The beds are pretty unconfortable. I had a personal towel that, I suppose, they tried to steal. I had to go myself to their laundry to find it between other towels. It seemed that there were a lot of others peoples towels there, and I imagine these people lost theirs, so watch yours. Internet is slow, and you will have to ask for passwords everyday. Ppl at recep are ok

One of the cleanest, hostels I have stayed in and the staff were all efficient and "on the ball". We stayed in Dorm for 8 (Room 43 on 4th Floor), which was large enough for all 8 of us, beds/mattresses and bedding were great. Roof Garden, Bar, Breakfast all first class. Would certainly return when in Rome!

Booked 2 beds in a 6-beds room. Check in time, were given a room in a different building so no WiFi. Nobody other than us in the this particular unit. In the room 2 single beds and two stacks of mattresses. Didn't complain about this as we had no problem with this. However in the morning my friend found out, hot shower was not working at all! So he went to the main building to take a shower. As it was a hassle to go to main building, I took a cold shower. I did report this to the receptionist.

Was somewhere to stay , but overall I have stayed in far better. Toilets were so bad in the morning, I understand that others had gone through before me but seriously they were absolutely disgusting!

The Staff is very kind and the hostel has a good location; the bathroom could be better cleaned, but it's acceptable. The worse problem is the security. Despite room has a system of card locker on the door, the lockers don't work and if you have valuable stuffs you should leave with the staff. It happen a strange situation with me, when my wallet disappeared for a while, when I was back to my suitcase, a guy told me to look in my backpack (that I had already looked), and it was there.

It was a great place to say they gave great directions from the train station to the hostel. The wifi didn't work which was annoying. We had a 3 bed private with a shared bathroom but it worked out great hardly noticed that we were sharing. The staff is very helpful have a great stay!

It wasn't as loud as I was afraid of. I was living in the first floor just above the bar. However after midnight, they reduced the noise and I had no problem sleeping there at all. Location was really good and bathroom was clean. Only thing though is that the you need a new wifi code every 30min, and you need to have a keycard always put in the card slot otherwise the electricity goes out (it does saves energy but kinda stupid for a hostel).Wish it had more power plugs, but you cant have it all.

Overall, I liked my stay at this hostel. It was on a good location within a 20 min. walking distance to all major tourist atractions (there is also a good metro connction nearby). The staff was great and helpful. Good offer on tours and tourist information. Rooms were kept clean as well. My only recomendation for the management would be to improve internet connectivity, as current internet speed is really bad.

SUPER RECOMENDO!

Hostel Alessandro Palace & Bar is a good hostel. It's located next to Roma Termini Train Station so it takes 5 min. by foot. The staff wuz helpful. And there is a bar downstairs so if you'd like to you can go and have a drink at the evenings. The rooms were very clean and there wuz a bathroom in the room which is so good. There were lockers in the room. they were little bit small but it's ok you can put your small bags to inside. So this hostel in Roma is a good choice.

This hostel was amazing !! It was my first experience in a hostel and I had a great time. The rooms were very clean and were tied up every day, the staff was very helpfull and the helped me a lot. Actually i haven't got any complains, maybe the second day there was a lot of noice in the hallway of some people. But that's normal, so i can't complain.. 20 o'clock free pizza, nice bar what do we need more?! Peace !

Perfect place to stay in Rome! Not only has it really good location (close to Termini Station and Metro) but also an amazing atmosphere. Integration is easy here as the hostel has its own bar inside with free pizza and good party music. Staff is really helpful and easy going. In case of any issue turn to Nas, who is a cheerful guy and a good DJ. Room was kept clean and safe as one can get an access to a locker. Hostel is opened 24h/day. Strongly recommend chosing this hostel for a stay in Rome!

Good

Alessandro is a nice place to stay in Rome. It is not that close to main sights, but is near Termini, the main train and bus station, so you can easily go around. And the facilities are ok, very clean, bedrooms ensuited. Remember, breakfast is not included (it is written in their page, but as I was going from hostel to hostel I did forgot).
