Hostel Allende Reviews

The public space of the hostel is clean and colorful. The room that we lived is a little bit dark because there is no window. The main problem is the shower, the water is cold and like little rain drops. And for the breakfast they only provide two slices of bread each. But in all we are still satisfied.

I was in Morelia for a conference and really just needed a cheap, private room to sleep and store my things. The hostel's is in a lovely colonial house and yes it's pretty basic but I don't need luxury. The staff were pretty helpful and told me where I could take a collectivo to the conference. They kept the room clean and with clean towels everyday and the location is great

The whole of the hostel smells funny, and my room smelled very badly because the last costumer smoked inside and used the garbage cans as ashtrays. When ckecked in they didn't have our room ready. The morning after I found a cigarette butt in the shower that the administration missed to clean. Besides is a really noisy place, and whatever happens at the patio at 4.00 AM is heard in your room.

Single traveller happiness: affordable single room with own bathroom. Very basic yet very useful. Only one drawback - the overpowering smell at night from a nearby factory making oil and blanketing the neighbourhood. Not the hostal's fault though.

Basic room, clean and tidy. No issues at all. Basic breakfast, nice central courtyard
