Got own rooms as upgrade which was awesome. Yes we went there in off season but this place was COLD. Two thin blankets wasn't quite enough. Common room was ok but would easily accommodate a kitchen. One shower and one toilet per gender on the whole floor. Yikes. Lucky we had whole hostel to ourselves. SO COLD- the air cons were on but are really coolers turned to the high heat setting. Did not like owner coming in to our rooms while we were out- didn't mention it to us either. Place was ok.

Fazana is a lovely little town, we were very happy to be staying there rather than Pula! The location of this hostel is very central, our room was very comfortable and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice hostel situated very near the centre of Fazana and therefore the national park of Brioni. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but cosy. Realy the only thing that is missing is the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay

Good location if you wanna be next to a beach, Ivan the guy who runs the hostel is super helpful and friendly and the value for money was quite good.

Hostel Amfora is a cute little hostel in Fazana. It's very clean - the bathrooms are always spotless. Good security. Fridge but no kitchen. Very close by to everything, including the beach and bus stop if you want to go into Pula. Ivan is so lovely and will help you with anything and everything.

This hostel has probably been my favourite hostel so far! This is mostly thanks to the owner Ivan who runs this place impeccably. The shower and bathroom is always clean, the rooms are simple but cosy and perfect for what you need when you are travelling. The air con in the rooms is amazing and the large common area is helpful in making friends. Ivan will go above and beyond to make sure you have an excellent stay in Croatia. You should definitely go here!!

Great stay. Host was lovely and extremely helpful. Air conditioning in rooms was great! Only complaint no kitchen just a fridge. Would stay again.

This place was nice. As many other reviewers have said, the best part of Hostel Amfora was the owner, Ivan, who is incredibly helpful and personable in pretty much all circumstances. He will tell you anything you need to know about the local culture and sights, and also travel logistics. The actual hostel is extremely clean and was located in Fazana, a nice old tourist village along the coast of Istria. The only complaint I would have about the hostel is that it has no kitchen.

Great stay at Hostel Amfora in the lovely town of Fazana. Pula is a short bus ride away, and we're really glad we chose to stay in Fazana instead. The hostel's location is great, 2 minutes walk from the seafront and beach. The hostel was great value for money, clean and comfortable. Host Ivan was excellent, gave us lots of advice and is generally just a welcoming and friendly guy.

Fantastic hostel to stay in, well worth the money. The hostel owners are lovely and always ensure you are sorted with whatever you need. Location is great lots of cheap but excellent food places by and only a 5 min walk from the beach. Really enjoyed my stay here, it's great to meet new people as it's a very sociable hostel, for what you pay, it's excellent value for money!

The hostel was clean, with hot water and a sink in each room. The owner was also very helpful and a lovely man! However we booked this hostel for the festival Dimensions but when we arrived we heard there were no bus transfers and it was a 3 mile walk to the festival which was annoying, there were also no cooking facilities bar a fridge. We stayed in a 6 bed room which was pretty small but was okay as we were a group of 6, but just a heads up if you plan on sharing with random people.

Great Hostel. The owner Ivan makes the whole trip worthwhile & can pretty much plan your daily excursions for you. All his recommendations were great! Fazana is a lovely seaside town & is alot nicer & relaxing than the nearby Pula. All the boat tours & restaurants are only a few mins from this hostel. Great location!

Globally a really good stay. I add 2 negative points: 1. for the emplacement since Hostelworld was claiming the hostel was in Pula, while it's in another village. 2. the room was without electricity (because of a mess done by previous hosts, we have been told), so we had to be relocated to a 10-peple dorm. But I can undestrand this has only been an accident (well managed by the staff).

Way better to stay in Fazana than Pula. It is close to Pula by bus and nice beach town with lots of restaurants. The hostel was clean and close to everything. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here.

The owner is genuinely a nice dude. Helped us with all out requests. Was there at all times. Went to pula to get to split via Zadar. Really helped us out as the ferry was discontinued this year.
