it was a surprize as this was my first visit, just of the main road, though all roads seem main in downtown mexico city. Easy to find , staff, Hector, Jasmine, jose, and all more than kind and patient with me, will be back on my trip out from mexico city.

The two meals provided were pretty good, especially most of the breakfasts. They were served, mostly, with great attitudes. We were pleased to have a room with it's own shower etc. A pleasant stay.

Great value for money: The hostel is located two blocks away from Mexico City's main plaza and free breakfast and dinner is include in the price. The hostel also has a rooftop terrace with a bar, where breakfast and dinner are served. The only negative thing I noticed were the matresses, which were very hard. Apart from that, I had a very pleasant stay at Hostel Amigo Suites and it was a very good starting point from Mexico City

Good location, The free dinner was basic but breakfast was pretty good. Great price for everything you get, and hostel seems very secure, you need to use a buzzer to get in, and lockers are in every room which are large enough to hold laptops/cameras.

Fantastic hostel - perfect location, super positive and friendly staff (especially the breakfast staff), great facilities (although wifi is a little sketchy), and great free breakfast and dinner buffets. If you're a solo traveler on a budget - or any kind of traveler for that matter - this is the place to stay... very highly recommended!

Really friendly and helpful staff and the room was super clean with HOT shower. Free breakfast and free dinner which were both big buffets, and a great way to meet other travellers (and eat for free, obvs). Good location round the corner from the tour buses, and the staff are great and helping with tours / taxis etc.

The staff were extremely helpful with all my questions on how to get to places and how to buy bus tickets etc. The chef and the breakfast was amazing. Nice little rooftop. The beds were comfy and clean enough.

Good breakfast and the simple dinner is good if you have had a big lunch. It would have been nice to have some water or juice provided at both though. Beds aren't particularly comfy and the bunks in the dorms were squeaky and wobbly everytime someone moved so you couldn't get a good night's sleep. I asked to change rooms and was refused,I then asked for a refund and was refused, even though people were asking for beds. Not very helpful. Staff and guests shouting from 7am.

Great location and decent breakfasts.

Front desk was great, especially Jasmine. So were the people who clean and cook the meals included. 3 blocks from the Zocalo square, perfect location. The rooms have no windows, quite stuffy. Breakfast was good, but what was surprisingly good most nights was the free dinner. There's no kitchen.

Staff where helpful apart from1 girl who didn't really want to talk with us. There is nothing to do in Mexico City apart from walk, eat & drink. We took the tour bus which took 2.5 hours as traffic is mental. We stopped off at a cool area with lots of bars & restaurants. You really need to speak Spanish as not very many speak English. Street food is good but you need to barter with them

Sink has no hot water.Room facilities are very basic, no individual lights for each bed. Location is convenient, just two blocks from the cathedral and in a quieter street. I only stayed for a night and left early in the morning to catch the flight so will consider it a value bet.
