Nice, clean, quiet rooms, great pancake breakfast, friendly helpful staff, good WiFi in rooms or shared pc's. Has a bar but it is better go to the other amigo hostel up the road if you want to party, then head back to sleep in the quiet. No regrets here. Enjoy!

Guests will never feel bored at Hostel Amigo Suites Downtown, there's organized trips to everywhere in Mexico and to the famous lucha libre. The location is very good to know the touristic and historical places and the hostel has a great common space at the top, excellent to use your computer, eat or simply meet new people. The rooms are ok and always clean, great value for money. Totally recommend it!

Nice Hostel close to Zocalo. Breakfast and Dinner which is included is much better than what we expected. The staff is nice. Only negativ point is that the internet isn´t working all times. Best point is that they make good deals for longstays. We would definetly recommend this hostel.

Had a really nice stay here until my last day, staff had seemed really nice and attentive. Hostel had a decent atmosphere I'm travelling on my own and found it easy to make friends. Breakfast and dinner were very basic but free so couldn't complain. Booked a bus to Oaxaca on last day my Spanish is limited but it was all written down what I wanted, all confirmed with the staff at hostel but when I got to bus station and ticket wasn't valid, couldn't work out why but had to buy a new one :-(

Me and my bf stayed here for three nights. First and second nights were good but the third one we had to leave the hostel around 4:30am or 5. My bf was getting bit by something, may have been fleas or bed bugs, not sure. Other than that, it was ok, two blocks behing the cathedral in the Zocalo. Breakfast and Dinner were good. Beds could be a little more comfortable. Bartender on the terrace was super nice! You hear everything through their thin walls.

My worst experience! People! be careful with this hostel, it seems to be a good choice - well located, not expensive, like many others, but it is SO noisy that you just can't sleep! I didn't have a lot of expectations, but at least a safe place to rest and resulted that I could sleep only 2 hours per night and It spoiled everything. Plus a noise from outside workers who were repairing the hostel made a huge scandal every morning at 7 am, literaly they shouted and didn't respect anybody!!!

Nice clean hostel in the historic center of Mexico city and easy access to metro line too. Staff is really helpful and the breakfast is really nice. Hands down best pancake I ever had outside of Philadelphia.

A very nice place. The staff is very kind and friendly. Very good breakfast and dinner. However, the internet service isn't good enough: there are three computers but two of them don't work.

SUPERB! The hostel is a 3 minutes walking from the Zocalo, the rooms are nice, the place is beautiful, the prices are incredible, and the staff is unbelievable (sobre todo "el chico de la noche" (nunca conseguimos saber tu nombre, pero que sepas que "las 3 españolas" te tenemos en alta estima ;) From the hostel you can make several tours that shows you the best of Ciudad de México. We specially recommend the Mexican Fights Tour. Seriously, this is one of the best hostels I've been!

Just two blocks from zocalo, clean and friendly. Matresses are camp style (plastic surface), hallways echo and clientel were loud. Breakfast includes something cooked, fruit, cold cereal, coffee and tea. No water tombo.
