This place was secure (but most lockers have no key) and central (but a 30 minutes walk from the train station, not 15). It wasn't clean, the kitchen was filthy, there were ants in the shower. You have to pay to leave your things after check-out, which adds up to almost as much as a night's price. Be careful when counting your money, they gave change back in a mix of currencies and it did not always add up. Overall, the staff gave no info about the city and treated us like we were annoying kids.

We were only there for one night, everything which was in control of the staff was good I guess. People there were a little boring though.

I would recommend this hostel to groups of people traveling together as I wouldn't say it gets people together. Additionally if you need information (as for means of transport and things to see) you might as well find yourself safer asking to the local tourist office for the guys at the front desk aren't that well informed (they gave wrong information both to me and to some friends). Other than that it is a good place and, moneywise, you will see one cannot complain.

This mattress was the best yet. 4bed dorm is tight, hot and very noisey with the windows open. Two members of staff, one was very nice the other terrible. Reception is like a Russian post office. Nothing works and there's an argument between the staff. Sarajevo cuts off the water between midnight and 5am, most other hostels don't tell you this, this one did. The shower head doesn't spray just a faucet. Terrible. The lights go out on the stairs and it's 4 floors up.

You get what you pay for. Great location but only two bathrooms which wasn't really enough. Lockers in the rooms were small and we didn't use the kitchen because it was so small and dark.

There where nobody at the hostel when we came, so we had to wait 30 minutes to get in. We didn't feel welcoming and the atmosphere on the hostel is so bad. The hostes seemed angry. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anybody. It is bad.

I arrived to find that the find single room is booked on HW no longed existed as it had been turned into a dorm. Admittedly I didn't book until 4pm and they'd received other bookings earlier that meant had to be the case. Frustrated to then be changed a higher rate of e20 (due to places being booked out because everyone was in town to mark the Screbinica anniversary) for a cramped mixed dorm. Overall an ok place, but overrated in so far as other's comments.

I stayed 3 nights in a dorm. The staff was very nice, the rooms were too. There was no air-condition in the room but with a window open it was comfortable enough. Bring earplugs thou, because the noise from the steet is pretty loud. But all in all a very good location and comfy beds. Would stay again if in Sarajevo.

Staff were a little difficult to get any info from. About Sarajevo or otherwise. Not a very friendly atmosphere and we had a few bed mix ups. Kitchen is filthy. Hairball in the bathroom was left there for my entire stay without being cleaned up. Always had to ask for toilet paper as it regularly run out and it was never replaced.

Hostel Art is an amazing hostel to stay at. You can't get a better location, the host Irhad was very accommodating, friendly and full of historical knowledge.. The hostel is clean with a really nice common area - would definitely stay here again. :) Thank you!
