Travellers beware. This is not as much a hostel as it is just a guesthouse. You live with the family. The kitchen is not for use, neither is the fridge really. You have your room and the shared bathroom facilities. Also notice!! If you intend on taking the night bus here you cannot enter the hostel before 11am. Annoying when you arrive at 5am. Positives: the breakfast is really nice and it is mostly really quiet. We did not find their tours to be cheaper than other agencies in town.

There is only one bathroom and one toilet for the entire hostel and the family that live there, its a bad place to meet people, there is not many rooms and there was hardly anyone staying there. No lockers, didnt have a quiet after 10pm rule. However if you are looking for cheap treks, the hostel runs treks for half the price as the ones in the main town of Lencois

If you want to go trekking in Chapada, go and stay here and book Fernando as your guide! The hostel was super chilled out, really welcoming and Fernando and his family were really helpful when we had bank troubles and needed to go to the hospital. Fernando is an amazing and knowledgeable guide, he knows Chapada really well and it was obvious how much he loves the place when we did a 2 day hike to Capao, I highly recommend this if you like trekking - awesome!
