We only stayed for a night but the staff was really helpful suggesting activities - and you are right near the main areas of the town - they suggested an amazing place to eat - we had amazing steak and wine, and considering we were on a college students budget it was a great treat!!

I thought that the staff, location and atmosphere were great. However, the policy not to allow alcohol from the outside was annoying. Even though they offer a full bar, we did not want to pay restaurant prices for wine when we could buy it cheaper at a grocery store. Also, the staff should be careful and more upfront for charges of things such as upcharges for booking shuttles and costs for extras that they offer. Overall, it was a great experience.

I was not satisflied with our stay, because: - The atmospere was poor, only certain staff is atentive -Poor breakfast -VERY BAD: iPod was stolen, I put it at a place right next to the reception and they told me it would be safe. Anyway they didnt take care, so anybode stole it. Manager didnt feel any responsoble for this happening. TAKE CARE! -It is quite expensive. -The pool is rather average Though the location is good. But it is not a very comportable place in general, I can't recommend it.

Owner Comment (Show)
Take responsibility for your decisions, we gave you lockers for free but you insisted on leave it wherever you thought was safe, we are in a safe enviroment, however you never know...we understand you were angry about the ipod situation that´s why you wrote bad things about the rest, as you see the majority of reviews are tottaly opossite of your comment...thank´s for visiting Iguazu!

Great location. Rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff are what makes the place, they were all so friendly and very helpful. Without even asking, Jenny gave me a map and great suggestions for the afternoon. They have a fantastic bar area and pool. Being off season it was pretty quiet, but Ed and Jen still created a great atmosphere and made it a great night. The next day the staff went more than over and above in sorting a missed bus tour to the falls. They drove me there! Amazing!

Greatlocation close to bus station. Nice pool to relax in. Main area lacks furniture to sit on (but apparantly coming as the hostel is new). Only complaint was lukewarm shower but as it was so hot, it wasn't too much of a problem. Would stay again as it was quiet and relaxing.

Friendly hostel with helpful owners, a fun set-up (including a pool, ping-pong table, and outdoor bar), and an excellent location (about a block from the bus station). Would recommend it!

Pretty good everything. The staff is awesome, the beds are comfy, the bathrooms are clean, and the pool is just what you need in the hot summer. The kitchen could use a little work.

This is a really great hostel. The staff were really helpful in giving us information about visiting the falls, and its location right next to the bus station made getting in and out really easy. The kitchen facilities were basic but good, as was the breakfast. There was a nice pool and bar area which was great for relaxing at night. The rooms were simple but clean and spacious, and the small lockers in the reception area made security really easy. Would definitely recommend.

Really well run. The American girl at reception was really helpful and informative. The 12 bed dorm was set out really well...sort of like two rooms connected without a door. Great location near the bus stop and everything else. Right next to the Brazilian consilate if you need to get a Visa for Brazil. The kitchen wasn't great. Not a lot of pots and pans etc. The pool area was great but the pool was quite dirty. The air con worked fantastically which is great because it gets VERY hot in Iguazu.

Great hostel, very friendly staff, my room had AC, nice size pool, ping pong table, kitchen is adequate, and they even had an asado my second night (ask Eddy to do it) which was one of the best steaks I've had in Argentina. Only complaint was that we didn't have keys for the 4 bedroom rooms, so anyone really could have walked in, but hostels aren't hotels so don't leave your computer lying around! Recommended!

I had a great stay here and would recommend to anyone who is visiting Puerto Iguazu to check out Bambu Guazu. The beds are comfortable, rooms are air conditioned, the breakfast was out everyday on time and was sufficient and the staff made every effort to offer helpful tips about the park and transportation to and from the border. Thanks again to Ubi, Jenny, & Ed.
