Very well kept. Saw people constantly cleaning. Amazing hot shower after many other places have ended up having nothing but cold water. Doors for shared rooms do not give keys which is a negative as anyone can enter but I guess that's what you get for staying in a hostel.

The price of the private room was far too much. It was next to the noisy bar.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The noise from the bar continues well into the night, could be a problem if you are a light sleeper. Showers were nice and hot. Quick turnaround laundry service was convenient, if a bit expensive.

Well informed staff. They place is run for tourists and visitors who speak English, this was very helpful especially since I spoke no spanish. Good location and near to town and the bus station.

Absolutely excellent hostel! Only stayed here for 3 nights but would have gladly spent our entire trip here! The facilities are great and every single one of the staff are fantastic and extremely helpful. The location is ideal as it is not far from the bus terminal and the atmosphere is also great with BBQ most nights which gives you the chance to meet other travellers! The bar is also fantastic with Jimmy there to sort you out with whatever beverage you need! Would highly recommend Hostel Bambu

Loved this hostel! The staff were so friendly and helpful, they made us feel really welcome and like we were staying at a friends house. The nightly BBQ is amazing!! Great food and atmosphere and a great way to meet other travellers and swap stories. The room was really nice, the bed was super comfortable. Its easy enough to get to the busses to get to the falls as well. I would definetely stay here again!

Neat, clean and friendly hostel just a short walk from the bus station. The private rooms are clean and roomy and the beds are really comfortable. Staff are lovely, and there's a (quiet) bar onsite so there's always someone to talk to. The only downer was that there's no filtered water to drink

We stayed for almost a week at the hostel. The room was better than we expected (we stayed in a double room with bathroom), the shower was good and with very hot water, with is unusual for hostels. The breakfast is simple, but good, we didn't miss anything. We would definitely stay there again. We just suggest new beddings, but that's nothing serious.

We had an awesome time at Bambu Mini! As soon as we arrived everyone was amazing. The staff were extremely nice and personable. We had amazing service from Yamile who was super helpful checking us in, showing us around and helping us organize all the trips and activities we wanted to do, and Jimmy the bartender was extremely friendly and helpful as well. The dorms were clean, bar was fun and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend Bambu!

Was a perfect place to launch into Iguazu park from- about a 5 minute walk from the bus depot, and 10 minute walk from restaurants and other places in the middle of town. Clean and small- it felt like we were staying at a friend's house. Like with any other hostel, just bring ear plugs (kitchen TV was sort of loud) but expect a wonderful stay for not too much money. Also, best breakfast of any hostel I've been in- apples, toast, coffee,

Cozy and quiet hostel, centrally located and walking distance to supermarket and bus station. Helpful staff will give you lots of information so you can plan your trip to the falls.

Meh.. You can't bring in outside alcohol because they have a bar, no common room is a pain and the dorm had 16 beds in a dark, damp room. Decent atmosphere and the staff were nice. Small lockers for valuables.

Owner Comment (Hide)
we have 2 dormitorios with 4 beds each, double room shared bathroom and private bathroom as well... it that clear? We pay taxes for the bar thats why its now allowed to bring alcohol from outside. About the lockers there is a big one, and another lockers smallest, but still you can use it to keep your computer o a bag( regular size) wich are for free by the way, thank you for your comment, and being objective is really necessary when you write a comment.

Spent a nice night in this hostel, went to Iguassu in the afternoon. Walked around town, and caught the sunset at the border of Argentina, Paraguay, and Brasil. The staff were very friendly, and had a great chat to an Aussie who had lived and worked in Argentina for 10 plus years. Very insightful.
