The staff provided a lot of information on the falls and how to get around.  The location is good and a few blocks from the centre of town. The breakfast is very good. I would stay again.

The double room assigned to us had BED BUGS. When we showed the receptionist the bug we caught, she automatically gave us another (upgraded) room. The sheets here also had the black dots that are the calling card of bugs so we stripped the bed and found more of them in that room as well. Needless to say, we hightailed it out of there. Shame, because the hostel otherwise looked great and the receptionist was uber-helpful. Hopefully the owners act on this and get the place cleaned up!

We stayed in the mixed dorm. The lockers are not big enough to fit a backpack in. The hostel staff was friendly and helpful with good information on Iguazu Falls. Some of the showers were significantly better than others, so select carefully. The kitchen was well equipped and had lots of eating area. No outside alcohol is allowed and the bar is a lot more expensive than super market prices.

The bathrooms were not well maintained and cleaned regularly. The sheets in the double room had blood stains on them and so we did not sleep in the sheets and rather on top of them and on top of our towels.

Nice clean and quiet hostel, 2 blocks from the noisy main intersection. Helpful staff and comfortable rooms, above average breakfast.

Bed Bugs. Booked 2 months in advance and arrived to find our room was double booked and we were being moved to another hostel owned by the same company. The hostel was close to empty, lacked atmosphere and when we went to bed many bed bugs were found.r room at mini bambu was ready. it was sufficient but no atmosphere

Hi , yes, we had a problem with your booking but you didn´t sleep in Bambu, so you can´t really make an opinion about it, of course you didn´t like the first hostel that we recommended so we arranged you a better hostel, same location, same value...Puerto Iguazu was almost empty because low seasson just started (which is great to visit the falls)...thank´s for visiting us!

We really enjoyed our stay in Bambu Mini! We needed to change our arrangements at short notice and they were very helpful with that. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating. The hostel itself is well situated, a short walk to the main shopping street. The place was well decorated, very clean and had a welcoming feel to it! There´s lots of communal space and a bar. The breakfasts in the mornings were also good. This hostel has been easily the best we have stayed at in SA.

The atmosphere was great. Ed the bar man was awesome and catered to the guests request if possible. The pool was clean and cool after a long day in the sun. Great place to meet new people.

This is one of my favorite hostels I visited during my trip. It had a nice atmosphere and the staff was really nice, for example we could store our luggage in one of its sister hostels in Brazil, because we had to wait for the bus. It has a good atmosphere and a lovely pool. The bathroom is okey. I would definitely recommend this hostel to everyone. Clean, fun, good beds and a pool. What more could you desire for!

Bambu Mini was a nice place to stay with extremely helpful staff and a good bar and outdoor area. The rooms were fairly basic and quite expensive for a private room however that seems to be the case with most accommodation in Iquazu. Breakfast was good and wifi very strong in common areas.

We stayed at Hostal Mambu Iguazu instead of the mini. Normally we don´t love sharing a room with 10 people and a few bathrooms with 20, but Mambu had us feeling quite comfortable. The pool was perfect after hot days with our packs at the falls. Ed was awesome. He made us the best dinners we´ve had throughout South America!

Best hostel I've stayed in so far, mostly thanks to the super nice and helpful staff! But also apart from that I really enjoyed staying in this hostel, as bathrooms were clean and spacious, breakfast was very good and the location close to the bus terminal made trips to the waterfalls easy.

Hostel is all right but it's a little bit small (so not a lot of people you can meet) and doesnt have pool like the other bambu.
