Meh.. You can't bring in outside alcohol because they have a bar, no common room is a pain and the dorm had 16 beds in a dark, damp room. Decent atmosphere and the staff were nice. Small lockers for valuables.

Owner Comment (Hide)
we have 2 dormitorios with 4 beds each, double room shared bathroom and private bathroom as well... it that clear? We pay taxes for the bar thats why its now allowed to bring alcohol from outside. About the lockers there is a big one, and another lockers smallest, but still you can use it to keep your computer o a bag( regular size) wich are for free by the way, thank you for your comment, and being objective is really necessary when you write a comment.

Spent a nice night in this hostel, went to Iguassu in the afternoon. Walked around town, and caught the sunset at the border of Argentina, Paraguay, and Brasil. The staff were very friendly, and had a great chat to an Aussie who had lived and worked in Argentina for 10 plus years. Very insightful.

Jimmy and the gang are the best hosts. Made my stay in Iguazu a memorable one!

A relaxed hostel to match the relaxed town.

Great hostel! The staff is awesome, especially the friendly bartender Jimmy. He speaks English and Spanish perfectly. The hostel is about 3 blocks from the bus station which isn't too far but it's further than other hostels. Pretty clean, great hot showers. Cake, toast, eggs (you prepare your eggs), and fresh squeezed OJ for breakfast!! Great chill atmosphere to hang out at night too.

Bambu Mini was the best part of my trip to Iguazu Falls. The Falls were great and I will remember them for the rest of my life. However, the people I met and the times we shared at Bambu Mini were just as unforgettable. Jimmy is the man, and the group with whom I was traveling still talk about what a buen tipo he was. I have already highly recommended Bambu Mini to other travelers whom I have met since that are en route to Iguazu.

All the staff are friendly and very helpful with assistance about things around town to visiting the falls. The property is well maintained and clean, there is a good selection for breakfast. There is a very welcoming vibe about this hostel.

We stayed on the Argentinian side for 3 nights and the falls were closed for the first time in its history, the only reason we stayed on was because of Jimmy - coolest bartender, very friendly and the co- creator of Bambu Bombs! Thanks mate the burger rings will be on the way shortly

Accueil très sympathique. Très nombreuses informations sur les parcs et sur les bonnes adresses en ville. Wifi faible.

There was some damp in the room that we stayed in. The breakfast was good, eggs are provided for guests to cook, apples and cake were also provided for breakfast. The kitchen area was a good size, but it would be good to have a bigger indoor common room with sofas (probably only useful during the cold seasons though).

The Hostel was really nice and social. Kitchen well equipped, breakfast is simple but nice. The stuff was very helpful and kind. We paid for a private room where the heating didn't really work and the shower didn't have hot water just warm, but there was a common one as well where the water was absolutely perfect so all was good. City centre is very close so is easy to reach any restaurants or convenience stores.

My stay at Bambu Hostel was brilhant, Jimmy is amazing host and who is backpacker will like to have a chat with him for a couple of minutes He can arrange everything for you from tips about the Cataratas, bars and restaurants until provide free entrance at the best night club in the town . We got a private room close the hostel's bar and 2 steps from the street. The night life is very close. I highly recommend Bambu Hostel.

Great location and fun bar atmosphere. Staff is really nice . Jimmy is a very entertaining and social bartender who makes a variety of drinks. Prices of the beer at the bar were a little expensive, but it was a good time without leaving the hostel. Checkout is at 11am and they will store your luggage. You need to plan accordingly if you want to cook dinner because they have a BBQ almost every night and they are usually prepping stuff in the kitchen for it. I would definitely stay here again.
