The hostel was a really good place to stay and kept really well. The staff were incredibly helpful in assisting in booking our passage onto the Argentinian side of the falls, staying at their sister hostel in Puerto Iguazu and booking our onward transportation to Buenos Aires. Would definitely stay here again and it was a shame we only had two nights.

I was staying for 4 days during my trip in Oct/2011. The staff was helpful & friendly and the common area was a great place to meet other travellers. The Hostel frequently organizes BBQ & Caipi-nights, which was a great deal for money. Location is within walking distance to some night bars & restaurants so that you can make it a night out easily if you like (Iguazu is quite safe I think). A supermarket is close by as well. Laundry service offered was a littlebit poor as some clothing got lost.

This is the hostel to stay at to see the falls! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, they know your names and answer all your questions about how to get around on both sides of the cataratas. They also can arrange tours which turn out to be pretty good value. Great kitchen area outside with hammocks, bar with delicious capirinhas, well stocked cooking supplies, and pool. Great for meeting people or just chilling out. Also the breakfast is big! With cake and sandwiches!

Friendly and helpful staff and a nice pool/bar area. The internet facility was better than most I´ve experienced in this part of the world. The main downside is the location. It´s a long way from the eating options in town, and there is little on the doorstep. If, however you are only there to visit the falls, then it is quite handy for the bus stop. I was also a little disappointed that the TV was on all the time, which killed any would-be conversations.

Rooms pretty basic but did the trick. One of the bathrooms is pretty yuck though the other one is ok We asked them to picks up from the airport as our flight got in at 1am (& we confirmed before we took the flight) but they didn't come. Luckily we had the address and got their ok though wasn't great at time with airport closing etc. Manager very apologetic though & paid half of our transfer to Argentina side so that was an appreciated nice gesture Good breakfast with fruit & toasted sandwiches

Pretty cool place to stay, a secure place to lock your luggage away would be good as the doors arent locked to get into the dorms, but there is a small valueable storage in reception. The bar is funky and the staff who work here are really chilled and lovely. Close enough to town also.

I enjoyed my stay at the Bambu Hostel Mini very much. Nice and clean room, even the 10persons dorm is surprisingly calm as its divided in two half by a wall. NIce staff, very good breakfast with real coffee! a delight after weeks of instant coffee :)

Good hostel, very well located just some blocks from the main street, where you can go anywhere by taking a bus. Very nice breakfast in a open area, perfect to start the day and meet people. The only real bothering thing was that when i needed the staff to get good info about how to get the argentinian side of the falls, they clearly hardened the description trying to make me buy 'their' transfer service. To get the falls by yourself is very easy just taking 2 buses from the hostel, as i found.

When I was staying here, they were doing some roof work on the kitchen area, so it was a little loud in the morning & they had taken the hammocks down. The pool also looked a little dirty, so I opted not to go in. The staff was very friendly & helpful however, especially in offering a good tour to the Argentinian side of the Falls w/ a guide that doesn't rush you. I recommend doing the tour to everyone.
