Great hostel. Loved the outdoor area with the pool and the outdoor bar and kitchen. Breakfast was one of the best we've had in SA. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Cheap to get your washing done. Really close to 2 big supermarkets and some shops but not much else going on in the town. No curfew in the outdoor area so you can party til as late as you want. Easy to book a tour through the hostel. Definitely recommend!

This goes down as 100% the best breakfast I've had in all of south america! One of the best at any hostel i've been to in over 2 years of backpacking. The fact that they have fresh fruit is heavenly. The environment here is very conducive for interaction. the TV room and the upstairs terrace are perfect places to get to know other travelers. The staff is extremely helpful. I wasn't sure if I should book bc I read about all the crazy partying, but when I was there it was perfect. :) very happy!!!

Very clean and staff were very helpful! Good location and the bar makes great cocktails! Shower was sometimes cold, but it didn't matter in the heat. Breakfast was good with eggs, toast, coffee, beans, sausage etc. Great hostel, that meets all of your needs.

Pros: Great staff, all very helpful. Rooms are super clean, new mattresses and pillows. The 10 bed dorm we were in had 2 bathrooms which was really good. Great tv room, great outdoor area / kitchen and pool. Breakfast was delicious. Cons: Only bad this was that there were no lockers. Location bit out of the way from the bus terminal

Had an awesome stay! Staff is very knowledgeable. Though small, the pool was refreshing. One of the best breakfasts I've had from hostels I've stayed at.

Great place to stay when visiting the Iguaçu Falls. The location is easily reachable from the airport and the bus to the national park stops just 3 minutes from the hostel. Excellent facilities with individual lamps and power outlets for each bed and a lot of bathrooms all over the house. Staff is super friendly and helpful, and they mix some powerful cocktails! Bus ticket service also available at a good price. Would definitely recommend.

Great breakfast, great staff and the rooms and communal areas are clean. The pool is a bit dirty and the bar is a bit expensive unless you stick to drinking standard brazilian beer.

The falls are just a short bus ride away from this hostel. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The pool looked clean although we didn't get to use it! The staff on reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the bar staff made lovely, strong caipirinhas!! Definitely a good place to stay for a night or two if you are visiting the falls.

Staff very helpful with providing advice on the falls and crossing the border. Excellent breakfast with plenty of variety. Good kitchen facilities and plenty of bathrooms all over the hostel. Was disappointed with the atmosphere but it seems like there is overall lack of nightlife in the town.

Hostel Bambu had great facilities for a great price. Pool, breakfast, excellent air conditioning, etc. The location is right downtown and a block from busses to the waterfalls, Paraguay, and Argentina. The atmosphere was calm and laid back, which was a nice change from many hostels, which seem to double as night clubs. A++

Much better than its Argentinian sister hostel. The staff does excellent job, making the guests feel at home. Seriously, the staff is outstanding here. Facilities are OK: enough showers/toilets not to queue, acceptable wifi signal strength, plenty of power outlets. Cons include the smoking ban in the open bar area (you have to go down to the entrance), a strict ban on drinks from the outside (even beer!), no aircon RC in the room (you have to go down to reception to get it, which is inconvenient

The best hostel I stay in Brazil. Very nice and good English stuff.

We weren't even here 24 hours since it was just a place to sleep before we flew out... but the beds were good, the shower was good, and the wifi was good! What else can you ask for?! The second we walked in, the girl at the front desk was so friendly and helpful - as was the guy in the morning when we were leaving!

I felt very safe and there were two big supermarkets near the place, which came in very handy. The bus stop to the falls is also just a block away. More than anything else the staff was very helpful and friendly. They answered all the questions and took care of some of my difficulties with great English. If you have plans to go to the Argentinian side of the falls it is good to take the tour provided by the hostel. They would take care of all the transportation and the border processes.
