A few blocks from the main square, but easy walking distance, staff were always helpful and nice, beds are a little hard , we stayed here a few times and would come back again.
Worst hostel I have been too. It is dirty. You are not allowed to use the kitchen. The staff really does not care. I did not feel safe . The only good thing is the price.
Hot water was available in only one bathroom on our floor, but it was always really hot. Bathroom closest to our room also smelled bad, not sure if this was a cleaning issue or plumbing issue. Overall rooms were OK, security was good. Brekfast is not included, despite this being stated on the confirmation email when you book.
Our room had a fan light missing and therefore we had a hole above our door, which made the music and the cleaning at 6am very audible. Although I'm sure this would be fine for the other rooms. Our plug socket had melted and after a few dismissals and a communication issue it got resolved, however it was not suitable to leave plugged in overnight for fear it may catch fire. We did however leave out things overnight whilst we went on a trip and everything was kept secure.
Reception is open 24hours/daily which is good!! there is a big lounge where is the small kitchen(well equiped),2 big Tv screens and loads of DVDs. They clean every day and try to keep all facilities clean and the shower is realy hot!! Also they've got PC with internet for free use anytime. Location is good to - not far from Plaza de Armas and right next to big local market with all stuff. We stayed here for few days and the hostel was very quiet. Not sure why but i would highly recommend it!!

The hostel was very competitively priced and the staff were understanding and helpful with our late arrival. And as well the staff were good and helped us resolve an issue we had with being put in the wrong room. There were plenty of facilities there to use in the lounge area upstairs which had a huge TV and plenty of DVD's and they looked after our bags whilst we were on our hike free of charge.
Hot showers and the kitchen were good. Only a handful of the dvd cases contained dvds. Felt safe, near enough to the main square, but the lights were dim and the bathroom smelt like mould. Pretty much what you'd expect for how much cheaper it is than other cusco stays
Offers more than you would anticipate from a hostel with hot showers, kitchen with oven/refrigeration, free internet access, two living room areas with flat screen and heaps of dvd's. The owner and staff were all very helpful. I had stayed two weeks and preferred bar duck to hotels 7 times the expense.
