It's a nice hostel, really close from the train station and the main attractions (Coliseum, Museums, etc). The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially in the evening. My room (4 beds ensuite) was amazing. They offered free locker, which is a really great thing. The kitchen isn't too well equiped (no toaster, micro-wave). I recommand this hostel too everyone!

The hostel itself it is not very special, but the stuff was very nice and helpful! You get what you pay for: a nice bed and a big room.

I've score low for the atmophere and cleanliness based purely on the stairs from the street in towards the room. The room itself I would score as a Good for cleanliness and the atmosphere was average. When we entered the hostel the stairs do make an impression and while they may not be owned by the hostel, they need to make sure they are safe. There was obstructions on the stairs and powercables hanging overhead. The staff were excellent and the room was very good, for what we paid for.

Owner Comment (Show)
Hi Richard. Thanks for your review. The reason why you saw dirty staircases and wires hanging, is because there are reconstructions going on. This is part of an improvement that the whole building will be undergoing in this period. Hope to see you here again some other time. Thanks.

The room we were offered was not clean at all. Our feet were black from the dust on the floor. under the bed and corner of the wall there were thick layers of dust. The walls were very dirty with markings all over the place. Desperately needs to be redecorated. The rooms and communal facilities were on separate floors so not practical at all

The hostel was kept clean and had a friendly atmosphere. There were good kitchen facilities which were well maintained. Great place to make new friends. The location being close to Termini is handy if you want to explore Rome. The place was a little difficult to locate the first time, especially at night, with no signpost. All in all a very good experience and great value for money.

This is not a bad hostel, but it's far to be a good one. Lots of things are old, dirty or don't work. It's not clean, and I heard people from staff discussing very loudly in two nights. Also, the owner does not like brazilian people, and I heard it from his own mouth, and I am brazilian. That's terrible. I was really, really annoyed to hear that.

The building it's housed in isn't all that great (not all that clean and with a tempermental elevator), but when you get to the actual hostel it looks pretty well kept and clean. My only real concerns are that my room smelled of sewage my entire stay and the WiFi didn't reach my or another of my friend's rooms. Other than that the place was fine.

The hostel is near the train station and you can go to all the places in Rome walking. And the staff was really friendly and helpful, especially Shovon and Vinni. Thanks guys for everything. Just one thing: put wi-fii in all the hostel, we all need internet

The ensuite bathroom was only cleaned once while I was there and I stayed for four days. I also got lost trying to find the hostel, they don't have a sign out front or even a clearly marked number for the building, I was looking for it for a good hour, and their directions online were not clear either. The staff was okay, not friendly, nor unaccommodating, just plain average which means blah. I won't necessarily recommend this hostel, it's pretty average.

Very good quality/price hostal for Roma for the single room. A good backpacker place with all basic needs : clean room and kitchen, fine beds, nice and helpfull staff (especially Shovon). Avoid room 20 which is very noisy due to the street.
