An excellent hostel, almost in the city center. We were in the Jerusalem room and it was a great three bed room with a bathroom and a terrace, which would have been great for summer stays. The staff is very helpful and the mood of the whole hostel is so bluesy. :P Definitely coming back in summer.

DIRECTIONS ARE VERY BAD. Got lost for 45 minutes because they missed a turn. Desk is perpetually under staffed, I had to wait 20 to 30 minutes TO CHECK IN. By and large the staff were useful when asked questions, but didn't make any effort to help or connect if you didn't. Overall, a very average - Not too bad, not too good - Hostel.

Wifi was not working so well, and it would be nice to have the wifi coverage also in the rooms and not only in the reception/bar. Everything else was ok!

Hostel Blues was just great! We stayed for 2 night with a group of 6 friends in 2 rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and had their own bathroom. The staff was extremely friendly and they even offered a free walking tour every day. Every Saturday they organise a Pub Crawl - a nice way to get to know people. The kitchen was small but new and there was a big dining room. In the evenings they opened a very cosy chill out room. We loved it!

Great hostel with very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. The free cooking night was a lot of fun and a good way to meet people. I would highly recommend this hostel!

Good location, helpful staff, cheap beer. :-) Walls are too thin if you have noisy neighbors...

The staff is absolutely adorable, so is the hostel. I loved the The elevator without door and the chilling out room. Oh, and the cooking night (slovakian food) don't miss it! loved.

Hostel Blues is clean, comfortable, and has a lot of character. The staff are wonderful - not only are they happy to answer any questions you may have or to help you out with any concerns, they also offer great sightseeing tips of Bratislava. The hostel has a really nice kitchen, dining, and lounge area for relaxing - but is also really close to many pubs and the Old Town for sightseeing and going out. Highly recommended.

We LOVED this hostel! Every single staff member was friendly and helpful. The moment we came upstairs, we felt welcome. The front desk/bar has a chilled atmosphere and amazing blues music of course!! The rooms were spacious and clean. Great views from the top apartments... (It's very nice that the hostel has a elevator.) Thanks for everything!

Excellent place, well located, clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice bar and kitchen. The lift is a bit scarry, but it's ok and the tram would pass in front of our window, so it's a little bit noisy. The shower is nice as well as the atmosphere, Totally recomended. Thanks a lot for everything.
