I only stayed for one night, staff were friendly and the hostel was clean. The check in process did take a very long time, about an hour...

my second times staying at Hostel Blues and it never let me down. walking distance to the old town and the castle. cleanliness and security are excellent. also, there is Tesco nearby in case you need to grab something for your cooking or drink! the staffs, of course, are very helpful and friendly.

Really great hostel, great location, helpful staff, fantastic facilities. The only thing that was missing was a hairdryer, which wasn't listed would be handy. Especially in a female dorm.

Hostel Blues gets the most points, undoubtedly, for the terrific and gracious staff (at least those whom were on duty during my stay). It perhaps loses some points for security -- most notably, they allow anyone who asks for the key to the bag storage room to go inside and take their bag (or, presumably, someone else's bag) without oversight. Other than this, I think the hostel is generally secure, and it's in a convenient location, with better-than-average facilities -- overall a good value.

Location is eccellent, in the real center of Bratislava. Staff is amazing, helpful and really positive! So staff deserves a 10/10 score. Building and rooms are ok, but nothing special to be honest. I've seen better hostels all around Europe, but even absolutely worse than Blues Hostel. Price is absolutely affordable and considering the position is really good! In conclusion, I can suggest to everyone to spend some night at Blues Hostel.

Really cool and characterful hostel. They've got a bar, they've got a chill out room, they've got comfy beds. Staff were really friendly. What more could you want? Would definitely stay again!

Stayed here only one night. The city is for one or two nights, not much to see, but is really nice. The hostel was really clean, big, great location, and really easy to find. Would come back!

We were just passing through Bratislava. When we got to the hostel blues the staffs was just so welcoming and showed us a map of things to do around town. They go out of their way to make sure your never bored always feel welcome. I actual think if you didn’t ask the staff a question a day they would be upset. The only reason I didn’t give them a 10/10 is because I think people don’t believe that when they see it. I can’t recommend this hostel enough.

The best hostel I have ever been to! It is new looking, modern. Stuff is extremely helpful, very nice and friendly. When we came to our rooms our beds were made. You can borrow a lock for the locker free of charge. Anything you need is not any problem for the stuff. Location is also very good - there is a citycentre just 5 minutes walk from the hostel. I had very nice time in there...
